As some of you know, my trial is coming up in February.
So, I am selling some items I have that are not required anymore.

One of these, is a genuine Faberge Egg from the 19th century.
This is one of those rare ones that you hear about, not all the millions of copycats out there.

For anyone that might be interested, it's listed here:

genuine Chicken eggs over the last 15 years. :D

Good luck with your trial bro!!

The large Faberge Eggs are called Imperial Eggs. Those are worth millions$ each if you would be lucky enough to come accross one. Most of the known ones are owned by goverments and kings/queens.

A few years ago, my jeweller was one of the agents for an Imperial Egg. It sold for A$24,000,000.00 (US$18,000,000.00).

Me too :D
Every handle that I tried wasn't good (someone had it), so I said, screw it, and 'syntherol' worked LOL

Thanks for the well wishes everyone.

that's quite bit $$$ there, the Imperial eggs must be impressive looking things :)

I would'nt sell a family keep sake bro. I'm sure there are other means to raise the funds you need. Thats is something you would want to keep in the family, My folks have a lot of expensive heirloom things and it would be unthinkable to sell it, just too many memories attached.

My grandfather has left me over 100 of his paintings, some which are worth almost $100k each. When he knew that he was dying in 1984, he wouldn't sleep and just paint day and night as many paintings as he could and on the back of all of them he would write 'Property of my grandson, _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ '
He knew how valuable they were, so he wanted to make a 'nestegg' for me. Those I would never sell.
Also, at my parents house I have some antique furniture works of art that my grandfather also left me. Those I would never sell either.

The Faberge Egg though - it has absolutely no emotional attachment for me.

If you have so many of his paintings i assume he would not have thought it an injustice to sell off a few if need be
Possibly to a museum even , therefore they can be appreciated by a wider audience
Obviously you can not display that many paintings so they will just sit wrapped and stored which serves neither you nor your grandfather's memory/legacy optimally IMO--or perhpas you do loan them out for display or you have a place/studio to showcase them--
just my .02 bro--something to consider perhaps as to some degree it seems since he was so prolific that he actually intended for you to garner some financial benefit from them
Either way he obviously held you in a great place in his heart

Good luck with your current situation
