O/T: Football Season

Damn it, it's been long enough! I would even watch Canadian football right now!

Anyone else ready? Also curious to know what kind of fans are on this board? Favorite teams? College or Pro?

Raiders Fan here, and I love small college football. NAIA, D3,D2.

I hear ya Diesel City.......i LOOOOOOVE football season. Im watching every game i can......and so is my family. Its great, even my mom and wife and huge fans. Well my wife didn't have a choice.....my mom told her "if you want in this family you have to love football".....lmao.

This wouldn't surprise me one bit. I absolutely am a fan of their coach! This guy is what football is all about. I watched a deal on the NFL network about him. After a huge win, he told his team to keep it HUMBLE and Intense. That is exactly what the sport needs right now!

As you can tell with my avatar tho I am a HUGE college football fan. There is nothing more exciting than attending college football games...there is so much more tied to the team I feel (emotionally). I am a huge Hokie fan, went to college there, have season tickets and go to a lot of away games. I can't frickin wait til this season starts....1st game vs. Alabama....I am so there!

After the Irish fire Charlie, they need to hire Gruden! It was really tough for me not to route for the Bucks when he was there. I'm thinking of making a road trip next year to watch

Here is my short list of stadiums to watch a game:

Lambeau- Went in 2002

Notre Dame-

Michigan-

Tennessee-

Camarrow Head (Arrowhead)-Been many times, even though I can't stand the Chefs, it's a great venue.

New Cowboys Stadium- This place looks unreal!

Happy Valley-

Oregon vs. OSU- I want to go to Eugene to see this one.

seeing as i go to wisconsin, i have to agree with you on that one. had a crazy ex go to notre dame so i'm not a fan. j

A kid from my home town played for them a couple of years back. He was on O linemen. His name was Joe Blaes. He may still be there?

You could certainly make the argument for them this year. That Saban D is SICK! Always. Good to see them back in the mix actually.

You think they'll be any better this year? Man. Not sure I'm sold on Rich Rodriguez. Tough to see a team like Michigan look the way they did.

i personally think that with two recruiting classes rodriguez is gonna turn michigan into one scary team. the spread that ohio state and michigan run is gonna change the way that all the big ten teams have to recruit on defense.
