O/T I'm not sneaky

I really need to be more aware sometimes.
Today I was visiting with two other instructors on campus about students. They were talking about frustrating students so I shared a store about one student I had a run in with. He was an ex-con somewhere over 6' tall and just a big guy, soft but big. He was being rude and disruptive in class one day so I told him to leave. As he left he walked by me about 1-2" away from me. Anyways I was telling them this story and about how pissed I was that he was trying to intimidate me and that he must have thought I was going to back away from him. Durning the time I was telling the story I was opening and closing a small knife I had in my pocket with my right hand. After I finished one of the ladies I was talking to said, "You didn't show him your knife?" I just stopped, looked at her and said, "No, how did you know I had a knife?" She then told me I took it out, opened it, closed it with my right hand then put it back in my pocket. !?!? I DID? The other woman standing there didn't see it, and I didn't even realize it.

JT is always telling me to be more aware of my surroundings, I think I also need to be more aware of myself as well.

Lol! One of the ladies asked why I had it. I had it b/c my dad's always on my a--, "Where's YOUR pocket knife?" I'm always borrowing his to cut the strings on bales so I finally got my own. Now if I can keep from losing it.

But if JT mysteriouly disappears from the board one day with no explanation...then you know he went to far one day.
