yes i agree. 1997 version was just barnie on AAS and died too easily. 2014 version looks pretty good!

The new version has been using True Protein.

I'm totally stoked for this one. Looks Bad Ass! And....it has the kid from the Kick-Ass movies in it and the best looking Olsen girl. He has short hair in this instead of that curly wig. I will be taking my nephew....he's a dinosaur freak and he considers Godzilla a dinosaur. He even liked the one from 97 which looked terribly dated when I played it for him earlier this year.

I have no shame in stating that I bought and own the entire Godzilla movie series, except the US version in New York City.

Funny enough some years after that movie the Japanese company made a movie where the real Godzilla killed US Pseudo Zilla.


Now with that out of the way. This is meant to be a throwback to the original movie from the 60's.. Godzilla isn't a hero he jsnt a source of destruction and terror. I am incredibly excited. I've heard but can't confirm that the team associated with the original Godzilla is involved with this one.

My 6 year old son is a Godzilla freak. If the movie sucks ass...which im sure it won't...it will still great to see the expression on my sons face when we are at the theater. I cant wait to see it!!!

A 6 yo doesn't need more than some explosions, monsters and subwoofer action.

Normal adults usually expect something a little better than Transformers, but I don't see this movie delivering a solid story or well developed characters. Or if 2 hours of senseless "bam bam dum" entertains any of you, so be it...
