Soldiers, professionnalmuscle members,

*what would you consider using while in operation?

1) to maintain your muscles
2) improve performance, recovery

*Combat rations are mainly carbs and fats with low protein (C/F/P) 50/35/15.

How to avoid gaining fats?

How to retain muscles while on this kind of diet? use of an oral like Anavar/ O-tbol...?
 
When I was deployed I had to carry around so much tuna and beef jerky it was rediculous, just to get my protein. Wouldn't use any injectables, most of the people who did (where I was at anyway) got infections.
 
Last year when I was in Afghanistan I had my friends and family mail me tuna. I ate alot of tuna and whatever the dfac had. My supplements that I use when deployed are BSN No Explode, True Protein Powder and will usually only risk orals.

However when I was able to a couple years before that didnt have a problem using injects. Just have to be very careful about keeping the pins around. I am a medic so I have access to them. However even if the guys are smoking hashish and drinking and doing stupid stuff you will be punished more severly more than likely if caught.

I am about to start my boladrol soon so these types of alternatives are very nice to have. People still oh if I just take that stuff to type of attitude I be big to in the military whatever hate the gyms. Good lukc.

PS Also the dairy shakes in the MREs people used to throw them away so my platoon would just save them all for me some of them had up to 24g of protien.

any dehydrated meat is good , beef , turkey , salmon. a good protein powder would also work well.

MRE's are very calorie dense so you can get more useable energy taking up less space with high carbs and fat. The few guys i was with that would eat that shit would basicaly split one into two servigs equaly and use it for two meals adding a 30g protein shake to each one or a couple ounces of beef jerky.

I never had to eat MRE's , i took my chances with local food and cooked it myself.

When i was in Kosovo is where i got turned onto Optimum nutrition 100% Whey Gold , we could get it reasonably cheap and it doen't taste that bad

Depending on your area i would get in tight with the locals and get meat from them , in Iraq or Afganistan not sure i would trust them but their are some people their that are glad we are their and will help you out just be cautious and check the meat and cook it well done
 
for me it is pretty much intake of calories, I try to take along protein bars, when we go out on long convoys or long mission days, for me I do not mind MRE's, threy are very high in Carbs and Calories, but its more to maintain my comabt readiness then it is to maintain muscle, I work hard in the gym and eat as much as I can at the defac or whatever I can grab from the PX, Im willing to sacrifice alittle definetion at this point, I know when I rotate back to the states I can be more strict and clean with the diet..
