6 plates on each side (585) for 20 reps on smith squats

routine went like this:

315 x 10
405 x 10
495 x 8
585 x 20

must have been that pop tart I ate yesterday:D

John forgot to tell the flavor of the poptart-it was Anadol flavored!
Yup he did it I can attest. John is the most intense guy in the gym (my partner is a close 2nd). Not that he doesnt BS around with the guys, but when its time for the set he gets in the zone! His insane training and methods have been inspirational to me and personally helped my training intensity and form.

And another comment about weight. Ive heard people in the gym say you shouldnt brag about the weight you do. God damnit we work our asses off. And when you hit that milestone, it makes your day! Be happy and share it with your training buddies-if they cant handle it we know why-JEALOUS! And those are not your buddies...

Sometimes I load up 585 on the smith as well. Then I just look at it.

Lol, damn good job bro, that's a shitload of weight.

I did 585 with free weights and when I took the bar off the rack I swear I shrunk 2 inches. It's some serious weight...I only got it for 2 reps though, not 20...nice lift.

Honestly though thats pretty good for 585 how many times did you fart?

My personal best on squat was 705 for 2 and 720 for one, call me when you catch up.:eek:

Intensity is key and it looks like someone here has a bit of it running thru his veins.

Now thats the kinda shit i like to hear! Killing the legs baby! I love a good leg blasting workout. So damn good that you cant even walk. I love that shit.

My personal best was 605 for 6 reps on a smith. Damn near shit my pants, and blew a couple screws loose from my head but damn, that shit felt good. I was around 220lbs when i did that.

These days, I'll stay mostly in the upper 400's and mid 500's for 6-10 reps.

Nice work to Bravo and Fathead. Thats my kinda bro's blasting it like fucking mad men!
