I did a routine that fried my legs this week and it didn't last long. I took 7 different exercises and did one drop set of 3 each. Then I did 3 sets for each of heavy front squats and leg presses. Thanks dude. Well for me legs was always a quick in and out; 45 minutes. A leg press warm up and then 3 sets. Some DB lunges. A few sets of calf raises. Leg curl machine. And maybe 3-4 sets of light squats if my back allowed it. That was really it.
After I made the commitment to get back into weights again and move away from TRX I told myself if I’m going to significantly grow my upper body again then this time I’m making the commitment with my legs too. I made some posts on here for advice and watched a bunch of Mountain Dog’s (RIP) videos.
Now my leg sessions are 2 hours. I pyramid up and down on leg press. Usually 15-20 sets fatiguing the fuck out of them. Then I hit a bunch of belt squats to protect my back. A ton of RDLs. And I finish with leg extensions pyramiding up and then doing drop sets until I wanna cry. And I do Flex Lewis calves routine 3 days a week as well.
That’s a nice switch up. Will probably try something like that when I hit a plateau with my current routine.I did a routine that fried my legs this week and it didn't last long. Lol fitting rooms are the best! Hard to look bad in those mirrors and lighting. You definitely didn't NEED them.I guess every bodybuilder has to do these in the fitting room.
Not so long until Christmas - buying clothes that fit.
Happiest time of the year.

I think he’d stay pretty damn lean while gaining within no cardio and a couple ten minute walks daily and let the workouts keep the fat off. Clearly he’s got a great metabolismHow about your strength in all of your lifts? Up significantly?
Awesome physique mate !!!
Great back shot, especially lower. Deep. You attribute that to what?
Started doing DC training earlier this year after a comp I did and noticed my back is lacking thickness. Did the basics heavy rows and from the ground up deads. Basics always workGreat back shot, especially lower. Deep. You attribute that to what?
