So I just found out today you can't get it on pay per view. What kind of bullshit is that. You can only watch it on the web. What idiot decided this and why? How am I gonna enjoy this on a computer screen.

I'D LIKE TO WATCH IT ON TV AS WELL. I THINK THIS OLYMPIA IS GOING TO BE A GOOD ONE TOO.

Couldn't you save the file and convert it to mpeg2 and put it on a DVD ?
I can transfer any video off the web and transfer it to my Tivo over my network. There should be an easy way for you.

How am I gonna enjoy this on a computer screen

Lucky for me my new 42 " lcd tv has inputs so that you can use it as a monitor and use the surround sound with it.

The only thing is I have to figure out how to hook everything up before the Olympia, if thats possible with all the wires you need.

If you have a LCD TV check if you can hook it up to your net. Wouldn't it be slow or possibly freeze from the net.

Is it free on the Net or a fee and what website do you need to go to to view it.

I was pissed too when I found out it wasn't going to be on PPV, I think last year it was in HD too. I have a 42" plasma and a laptop though, so I can get it and just hook up the laptop to the TV, I just hope the quality isn't that bad.

Several sites are hosting it this year, here is the 1st one I heard about:

The olympia is going to be a streaming webcast, so what sucks about that is if your connection cuts out during the middle your screwed, that isn't likely with ethernet but very possible if you have a wireless connection like my self with a laptop.

The only good think about it being a webcast is you get to see just about every thing going on at the Mr O weekend, here is the schedule of whats viewing:

I believe the reason why they are only doing it from a PC format is there are to many people that have their boxes at home chipped up and always manage to watch the big O for free. They loose money this way. And so now they are testing it on a PC basis. Gonna try and see how much their money take was this year as supposed to last year. (just my guess)
