hey bros
Is there any rule of thumb on how many carbs and protein I should be taken immediatly after a workout.

Iam not using insulin or gear. Not until march. Trying to lower my bf.
 
What I meant is a post work out drink.
 
poliquin gave some good carb definitons for postworkout dependong on reps done but i just use 100 pw, and 100-200 spread out over the rest of my meals so my carb intake pw is 1/3 or 2/5 of my daily intake
 
1 carbo force(100g carbs) and 60g of whey protein. If you are worried about your weight fatwise then just use a 50/50 combo. 50g carbs/50g protein. I believe you should always have atleast 50g of simple carbs postworkout to keep your body from going catabolic. Why simple because if you feed it complex your body will have to work to break it down and make it a simple before it can use it. Do not slow the process of post workout carb intake you need those carbs immediately.

yes , look for that poliquin article on t-mag , its a very informative one ....
 
6iu Humalog/10min before my 1st protein shake.
(80gr Protein, Glutamine 10g, Creatine 10g, BCAA's 9g pwdr-form, 3 pkts of oatmeal) mix it all up and drink.



this is what I was going with after my slin injection. I am also going to keep a 20oz bottle of OJ with me at all times just incase I start to feel tyred or get the shakes
