PROTEIN, how much of it do you get from your shakes?

and how many grams do you have a day total, including animal sources.
 
Depends...

on if i'm dieting or trying to bulk up. I always get 1.5-2 grams per pound of body weight. I don't get more than 1/3-1/2 from shakes though. Therest from whole foods.
 
About 550g ED. If I am busy I take more shakes, if I have a bit more time on my hands I will have more meals.

zero protein from shakes...50g from whole food every meal, then 25g from LBA in between each meal...i don't add it up anymore, just eat when hungry that's all that matters right now.:D

jesus, you must have intestines of steel sir, I go over 3 shakes a day, my stomach starts to get all knotted up
 
None. Even for a few months before I was training with Phil I just ate whole foods, I didn't mind the expense it took to have a full belly :cool:
 
When bulking around 400g per day. I'd say at least half from shakes( I cant eat)

When dieting around 320grams. Around 200grams from shakes. Now that I added LBA's I only get about 100grams from whey.
 
About 200grms from shakes...about another 300grms from real food...
 
i aim for 350-400 grams a day, usually 100-200 grams from shakes. So 1/3- 1/2 of my daily protien is shake form usually
 
I stay around 300-350 grams per day, staying above 1.5g per pound of LBM.
But I try to eat the more real foods as I can, however I don't go over 100g of shakes per day.
 
When things are good , I try to do my weight in shakes plus eat protein rich meals .
