PRSCAR...how much should one take??

Just curious...if I am on 1gram of test a week, what would be a good dosage to take of proscar??

1mg a day???
1mg EOD???

I read (but cant remember where) that the dosage of proscar does not need to be increased when the test dosage is increased. That was hairloss related, unless you are taking it for another reason

Proscar v. Propecia

In the US, they are the exact same medication.

Propecia contains 1 mg & is prescribed for hair loss.

Proscar contains 5 mg & is prescribed for enlarged prostates.

Anything above 1 mg is ineffective for hair loss.

Why would going over 1mg be ineffective for hair loss? Just would like to know, as I have some proscar that I have "quartered" --- and would like to know how this mg difference makes such a profound variance in effectivness.

That is incorrect, doses above 1mg were not more effective than 1mg at preventing hair loss. However using more of it won't stop the drug from helping your hair line.

Cutting proscar into 1/4s works just fine.

proscar is only good with test right?? its useless for other steroids from what ive read... anyone have any luck with nizoral(sp?) shampoo??? or other topical creams??
