Naturally very high in estrogen my whole life. Just started trt again and will be getting blood work in a few months

My first shot of test (125mg) was Friday (5 days ago). Took .5mg adex. On Saturday and already getting gyno symptoms i know i need an ai but want to know what is a good starting point for me

My natural test before i started was
270 test
80 estrogen and had estrogen side effects.

Like i said ill retest in 2-3 months but i need a good starting point

Very high i also got gyno symptoms when i used natural test boosters. Always been estrogen senstive even when i was lean and cycling

Yea smart why didn’t i think of that? Problem is. i cant function with my current test levels. my personal and work responsibilities are too much and feel like death all day ……

dieting has been a nightmare scale doesn’t move even with increased activity I’ve tried lower carb. Lower fat dropping total cals.

With that said. I need to get my hormones optimal and with the added test I’m getting gyno symptoms. My question was how to go about getting a starting point in controlling that. “Not get less fat”
 
well, thats the problem then.
try to lose some fat to avoid excessive aromatisation

you are either not tracking or not tracking accurately.
regardless of your hormone levels, if you were eating less than you are now you would lose weight (assuming you arent GAINING weight alarmingly fast right now)

fixing your low test will probably make you feel better and have more energy, but its not going to fix the underlying issue here in that you dont know how to diet properly.
 
do blood work to check your estrogen level then give the minimum dose of IA 0.25mg twice a week and in 14 days do another e2 test, if it is still too high increase the dose to 0.5mg twice a week and so on - after some time when you have lost a lot fat you will probably need to reduce your dose of IA or stop it altogether, so you need to do blood tests often to know where your hormones are.

The best way is to wait until you get bloods - sensitive E2 ideally. Low test and high E2 combo from your natural testing likely makes you a strong aromatizer (losing fat and other tips given will help of course). If you can't wait until serum and E2 stabilize 5-6 weeks or have major E2 symptoms during the period then just go with a low enough dose of AI and adjust it as needed once you get the bloods. Probably 12.5mg of aromasin 2x per week would work (it's also hard to fully crash E2 on aromasin without being a real dip shit so some safety margin built in).

What I've tried to do here is answer the question you asked and provide context around it as opposed to other routes/directions. This does not in any way invalidate the advice you've been given by others but above is as good an answer as you are likely to get. You really need bloods and time/experimentation (some people feel better/worse with lower/higher E2) to get fully dialed in. Also, fully dialed in can and will change with time/age, body fat levels, dosing protocol, etc...
 
Why wait 2-3 months? You can get bloodwork done online for a low cost. It’d be worth it for you. Like $55 for an estrogen test.

If you just guess and start taking an AI every day or every other day; soon you’ll have zero estrogen. That’ll cause you numerous other issues.

Also, start tracking everything you eat. Losing weight is easy if you’re actually being 100% accountable to what you consume. It’s just a matter of you burning more calories than you consume. Super easy IF you actually want a change!

You seem to be looking for a cookie cutter plan for using an AI in your specific scenario. The problem with that is no one can actually give you that which Luki mentioned at the beginning. It’ll be just a guess from everyone.

I can tell you take .25mg of A-Dex EOD. You definitely shouldn’t need that much using just TRT. However, you’re currently overweight and have an excess amount of body fat. That excess body fat will definitely cause huge spikes in estrogen. So my original suggestion of taking .25mg of A-dex EOD might actually work for you.

You can try .25mg EOD, and get bloodwork in a week. See where your levels are at, if they’re not optimal for you then adjust the AI accordingly.

I was under the impression he just started it and needed to wait to stabilize. That made some sense to me. Reading again this may be more mental and a totally new user. Bloods are the only way or just fuck it and fly blind and nuke E2 on feels.

I will say this OP. I'm a fairly experienced user with 30+ years in. I've also been on TRT for 12+ years Dr prescribed for most. Several times I was "firmly convinced" of something only to get bloods which definitively confirmed otherwise. Bloods are real...feels are just feels.

The craziest part is @hollaatyaboyy1 has been a member here for 15 years and still asked this. I guess most people just use this board for sources and not actually learning bodybuilding.
