You Damn right ! It saved mine.
I'll try to make this as short as I can. This is important information on
bacteria infections.
I live near the chesapeake bay here in Maryland. Sad part is the bay
and rivers are so polluted with sewege spills and over development
that bacteria levels are high. About a month and a half ago I was repairng
this sea wall and all of a sudden my wrist swelled up red like a beet.
Couldn't figure what happened. Two infections developed on both arms. A week later a knot formed behind my ear that opened up into
a hole about the size of a quarter. That night I got a fever and blurred vision with pains in my bladder. (couldn't pee). Drove myself to the ER and
after explaining my symptoms they ran me back and hooked up an IV
bag of antibiotics. They took blood and a few hours later I heard the nurse
tell someone , The infection is in his blood stream and we're transporting him to critical. OMG ! I thought about my 9 year daughter and thinking I'll
never seeing her grow up. It took 3 bags a day for 6 days just to get the
infection down.
Doctor told me I had a Staph ( a flesh eating bacteria) and beings it was on my head it came close to penetrating the skull and had entered my blood stream. He also said that IF IT WASN'T FOR YOUR SIZE AND CONDITION THE OUT COME WOULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE DIFFERENT. Weight training play an important part of my life. You damn right........
