Hey everyone, my sister was diagnosed w/ MS today. She's 32 years old and in good health but had been battling some blurred vision and terrible headaches for the past year or so. Just curious if any of you have this or know much about it as far as things she can do in addition to the protocol her DR is going to put her on. (daily injection)

The tests found that she has some lesions on her brain and some protein on her spine.

Thanks for any help and info.

Matte

That is terrible news.I did see a journal article where they achieved results using testosterone .I am not sure where I read that article though.

a guy i work with was diagnosed with ms a year ago.. he complained of vertigo and instability when walking ect.. so he went in and ..bam.. found he had ms.. the great thing is he is doing very well except for some days he is very fatigued.. but, all in all.. with the proper meds.. he does great..

vitamin D

Vitamin D is supposed to be good for ms but it has to be the right kind. Hopefully a google search can help you. Also check out Dr. Mercola's website. I think it's mercola.com......lots of ms info there too.

A company called Mannatech has this stuff called Ambrotose and in large doses can actually reverse and potentially cure MS.. Clinical studies are under way but I knew a girl who was trapped in wheelchair and in 4 months was walking again and you couldnt tell anything was wrong. Prolly cost 1-200 Aus. dollars a week though. Google the stuff, easy to get but not in health shops.

Matte - i dont have anything to add other then that i will keep your sister in my prayers

my cousin was diagnosed last year she is 35. the dr.s believe it was brought on by her pregnancy... she had her first kid the year befor. Keep a positive mind on the subject. There have been huge advances in med science over the last 10years as it relates to MS. I also have a client who is 78 and has had MS for over 40 years and she still drives. God bless you and your family... keep you spirits up. A good attitude does a lot to keep things going well....

Thanks everyone...the ideas, thoughts, and prayers are what we're looking for.

She has always been very mentally strong which I think will def help in the long run. She's fairly fit but I can imagine that a better nutrition and workout program along w/ less stress would really go a long way in preventing this disease from progressing.

Again, thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.

Matte

hey man...ive done some research on MS. look into something called interferon-beta. its a cytokine that actually works really well in preventing future outbreaks. im assuming shes in the early stages...so its good that you caught it now. MS is a serious condition...but treated properly she can live a normal life. ive got a ton of info on the subject....

PM if you want more info.

Hey Matte, sorry to hear the bad news. But with bad news you must turn around to make it positive. It was diagnosed early and can be treated. Follow the doc's protocol but do not be afraid to try new approaches. Big Lee metioned mannatech. This product shows great promise for many ailments. I have had a number of my customers who were using these products tell me of cured malaises of many forms. They are now, as BL mentioned doing some real research into this stuff. Worth a look into and it is along the lines of alternative meds that mainstream docs and drug co's alike are scoffing at. And for good reason, it will knock off the scripts in a big way, so they are worried. Whenever the pfizers, smith kliens and such get all upity about natural remedies I pay special attention, they are running scared. Best of luck and my thought are with you and your sister. Keep us updated please.

Sorry to hear of your sister Matte. I will be keeping her in my prayers. Keep us updated please.

Thanks to everyone's thoughts, prayers and information. Trust me, we'll be reading all we can. There sure seems to have been a ton of medical advances, that's for sure.

So far, her neurologist has said all her symptoms point to MS but wants to now refer her to an MS specialist at either the U of Minnesota or the Mayo clinic in Rochestor. She has not started the Avonex weekly injection as of yet as she decided she wants the MS specialist to fully diagnose the disease first. She told me last night that she had blurred vision about a year and a half ago and for the past year has had a headache almost everyday. She's now on Imitrex which seems to help.

Thanks again,
Matte
