Sleep apnea help/question

A little while back it was suggested to me from a few of our members that there are some dental appliances or mouth pieces that are effective for sleep apnea. However the only thing I have been able to find that is similar is actually sold to prevent sleeping, not sleep apnea. When I tried to order it they asked me a series of questions one of which was do I have sleep apnea, when I said yes they told me that they could not sell it to me for sleep apnea. Would this still work for me?, Or is there a specific product that someone could point me in the direction of that is designed specifically for sleep apnea? thanks.

I think you're looking for a mandibular advancement splint.

Run a google search and you'll find lots of info. and places to get one. I'd be interested in hearing form anyone who has used one, esp. as to how it compares with a CPAP / CFLEX.

To find out if you have sleep apnea you need to get a sleep study done and a multi channel analyzer test done.

I will still get a sleep study done, but I needed something ASAP as my sleep quality is terrible at my current weight (I stop breathing a lot when on my back).

Moving my lower jaw forward does enable me to breath easier so I am hopeful that this device will help.

I have sleep apnea, and this is just a curiosity: is sleep apnea more common among beefy (not fat) individuals (read: bodybuilders)? The closest I've ever found was seeing it mentioned in a few places, and reading a journal on increased incidence of sleep apnea while on exogenous test. Anyone ever consider that the sleep apnea is directly related to the gear? All I know is when I'm on heavy cycles especially with trenbolone I have it like crazy. I'll stop breathing for minutes at a time and make all kinds of weird gasping nosies all night. When I'm not on I have no problems. Just wondering if anyone else had similar thoughts.

Yeah, I've seen that journal article that talks about it possibly being caused/aggravated by TRT (see my post above), so maybe the same applies to other gear?

I have tried those mouth pieces and all I end up doing is drooling all over myself starting about 1 min after I have it on...

I end up taking it right back out. Tried using it for 1 year and still havent lasted more than 2mins with drool and choking on saliva.
