Anyone who says their spouse does not suffer from their mood swings during contest prep on low carbs and on a crapload of aas is delusional. Not to mention them putting up with your libido which can go from permanently horny to zero for weeks.

Some guys are very lucky to have supportive partners who will go the distance, but it is unrealistic to expect the support to be the norm. Who are we kidding. Steroids will always have associated health risks when used long term no matter how long you've spent on forums or parrot learning pubmed . I have accepted the risks and choose to use them but I can't blame my wife for being concerned.

ya 90% of the posts in this thread did not help at all. but what can i expect all these guys here have their test jacked up 5x normal and have their foolish pride to protect. i have a good woman who has some faults but so do i, at first she didnt like the idea of me competing but got over it pretty damn fast. anyone here who tells me i need to dump her i just laugh at cuz they know about 2% of what the fuck goes on between me and my lady, she dealt w me in jail for many months and stood by myself, dealt w mood swings from AAS and me cheating on her and STILL puts me NUMBER ONE. and these guys think girls like that are a dime a dozen. and even after all ive put her through shes cool w me taking certain AAS that dont alter my mood alot(ex. 19-nors)....alot of these guys calling me a pussy prob are single and the jokes on them cuz im the one fucking a hot ass girl every night while u rub one out to internet porn, whos the pussy now? im just trying to respect my woman(who i see myself marrying if we continue to make progress) and discuss things rather then TELL her whats up, because im not a hypocrite and she asks me about EVERYTHING she does and whether im OK w it

youre right its very demanding in terms of effort all the time not just in the gym its money its supplements its not drinking or going out its putting things in your body and no one else besides us knows truly why we do it its just hard for people to understand even when i brought competing up to my dad all he wanted to know was about steroids. if you can find a woman who is right there w u then thats awesome but thats not something i look for in a wife just someone who can meet me in the middle and not hold me back so i will see how things workout w me and my lady but we have been doing much better lately and like i said she got over her hissy fit about competing very fast im not looking for miss perfect or a push over ive dated pushovers and theyre fucking boring, my girl just cares about what i do to my body and as long as im honest w her and a good bf we will be fine

I do not know your girl but based on what I have read it sounds like the reason she does not want you to compete is not because she is concerned about you but because she is concerned about herself. In other words she is not saying, "don't do it because it is dangerous, you can't support yourself, it will be bad for you". Instead she is saying, "don't do it because all the women will be checking you out like a piece of meat and I am afraid you will find someone else better than me". She is insecure and has low self-esteem. This is a huge red flag for the future. If you truly plan to spend the future with her, she needs help. Without help it will not get better, only worse. She needs to learn to love herself and then she will be ok and supportive of you.
