Carnitine: Carnitine is important for coordinating fat an carb use in muscles. People with type 2 diabetes an obesity often have poor carnitine metabolism. Carnitine supplementation decreased carb use, but increased fat breakdown. It also increased glycogen storage, which is important for intensity training. Carnitine supplements may be particularly effective for weight loss it promotes fat for fuel.

Lack of exercise an poor diet cause problems with blood sugar and insulin regulation. Insulin resistance is extremely common in America an is linked with the metabolic syndrome- a group of health problems that include type 2 diabetes, abdominal fat deposition, high blood pressure, abnormal blood fats (high cholesterol an triglycerides, an low HDL). About 15 years ago a nutritionist found that chromium picolinate works like insulin to move sugar into cells an improves the sensitivity of insulin receptors. It was found that 1,000 mcg per day for three months helped prevent weight gain and improved insulin resistance in patients with type 2 diabetes.

I never got anything out of chromium but I i do like acetyl-l-carnitine; gave me excellent energy and focus. I'm not going to argue with you though because those shoulders look pretty damn ripped. You must be doing something right!
 
I use Synthetine (inj l-carnt) on a regular basis.
I never got anything out of chromium. Metformin works much better.
 
Bump Synthetine and all the benfits...Love it!!
 
Does Carnitine give that ephadra/caffinefeeling .u know that jittery feeling with the fast heart beat.cause i want 2 use a fat loss supp but most of those supps cause that crap and i dont like that feeling.

I'm going to give the synthetine\syntheselen stack a go, I'll let you know how it works out.

Oral l-carnintine won't do shit. It has to be injected.
 
I just ordered the synth stack... what size needles do you recommend?

they are both water based, so they will freely flow through any size needle. So just get the smallest needle you can that is long enough to reach IM
 
I think you only get benefit from taking chromium if you are deficient.
