Source problem,what would you do?

An underground lab asked to advertise on the UG.I told them they have to front a Mod and a decision would be made thereafter.Well,since I love any and all sauce,I chose to be the guinea pig.Stuff arrived,appeared excellent and i sent the funds.I get an email a short while later accusing me of not sending the funds.I have all the tracking info and it says it arrived.Source states pack was empty and that it appeared tampered with.How is this my fault?If some lowlife stole the cash during shipment,Im responsible?I never fucked anyone,and this is my fault?

Source contacts me today and says he will accept 50% of the loss.So he wants me to resend half of the original.What the fuck?I did everything right on my end and this happens.What the hell is the proper protocol?

dont even bother sending more money. thats the breaks of the game. apologize to the source and ask him if he would be willing to work with another member of the board. did you wrap up the cash nice and neat? was it obvious what was inside? i lost 1100 in the mail to the usps one time, you just have to eat it. you gotta pay to play

thats why this method isnt good

if he addmited package was tampered with the source is his fault because he is accepting this kind of money "transfer"

and he admits he got it But claims it was "tampered" with

Its possable the "mailman" stole it BUT VERY unlikley imo.

anyone that may know what he has going on could have "Tampered" with it

What I would do would depend on the person I was dealing with.

I say fuck this guy, if he's gonna be a little bitch about fronting gear to a Mod who is about to allow him to post on UG and advertise. Then fuck him. He would have been better off saying

"BN the cash never got here, but thats OK, I'm a stand up guy and I'm sure UG will bring me plenty of business"

So fuck this clown, and like Alin said, if thats the way he wanted his cash then he accepts all risks.

Its simple...

hmm.. how did you mail it? you could possibly take the cost of the weight of your mail if sent through regular mail etc. I too have had this happen in the past twice actually. I have been on both ends of the spectrum both sending and recieving. Just a loss you have to take.

i sourced for 4years...

only had one rule really...

tracking numbers dictate responsibility....!

if i sent it...and i got the tracking number to prove it...and for whatever reason you didnt get it...i aint resending most likely...for 2 reasons...i'm in this to make money..and when things go wrong the odds LE will be involved goes up exponentally.....if the guy was a long time customer or buddy i'll reship at cost, so i dont lose money. but thats it...

the guy probably is telling the truth, but thats not good either cuz that means that whomever is getting their hands on the mail on his end is opening it up and taking money out and that will happen to future customers...causeing more problems for the UG...if the theivery was on your end BALDNAZI then other people you sent funds to would not recieve them..

either way sever ties..

biz is biz and tracking numbers mean everything...

fuck him BN. I would have said the same thing mentioned above. I would eat the loss and reap the rewards of a shitload of business from the UG. Also the whole mailman stealing the money is bullshit too. They don't tamper with mail and steal money.

Fuck him BN.. It's his loss. He admitted that he recieved the package but that it was tampered with. That's on him. He should have a better set up for recieving funds (WU, etc). If it was an established source with a great track record then I'd agree to resend 50% but only if another method was used.

2 points to address...

Who requested cash by mail?

1. If its the source, then it really isn't your fault unless you did not pack it securely.

2. If you requested to pay via cash by mail, then you'll have to take responsibility.

I'm not knocking anyone here. Just a thought. Either way, this kind of situation sucks for both parties.

USPS sucks! Its better to pay more and get professional courier companies to do the job. At least they give you more security although it may not be 100%.

Whats funny is that I have already seen some negative feed back on these guys from another board. UG labs are a dime a dozen and they should be doing everything they can to get customer loyalty. Your word should have been enough for them. I remember the amount and I think you pay more for a night out than that.

They just burnt a pretty good bridge with petty bullshit like that.
