Super Sore for days..

Yo whatsup guys.
everytime I work out I am super sore for days.. and i am not talking just sore.. i m talking like so sore taht tears will come out of my eyes if someone puts pressure on it for too long. the parts that are specially sore are chest anterior deltoids,, and oh dont even talk about legss. I walk like a robot for 10 days after doing legs. YES TEN. I m not exaggerating a bit.. What do u think the problem is. u think maybe taking glucophage or slin will help with recovery cause maybe not enough amino acids and carbs are going into my muscle??

I might look at how good your diet is and perhaps are you getting enough sleep. Could be many factors really. You could just be really over training too. You need to give us more info on how you train, eat, sleep etc
 
I second what Maldorf said.
Also, get your hands on some Bromelain fast, it will decrease that soreness in half.

Are you possibly overtraining?? SET,,EXERCISES? whats your nutrition habits like.
 
Hmm now that u mention my diet and sleep has been a bit off. But i didnt think it would affect recovery THIS much..

I could be overtraining as well cause, chest which is the most sore body part after legs i love training it and i just keep poounding at it on gym days.

I am going to chalk it up as too much STRESS which will raise catabolic hormones. then add ANY degree of overtraining and messed up sleep patterns and i am one sore SOB.
think you might be more stressed than usual? maybe the disruption of your sleep is a sign of that:confused: -STEELE

How do you eat currently? What do you eat before/after training?

I've found that carbs actually increase soreness. I doubt I'm alone. It's also common that a ketogenic diet reduces soreness.

So I doubt a lack of carbs or carb insensitivity is the problem, but who knows.

Well, blocking cortisol increases soreness (as in taking Cytadren). I doubt high cortisol levels is the problem.
 
Two things......The first is you have to take in very high amounts of quality protein so that the body can recover and repair adequatly. Second as others have said you could be over training. Make sure you are also drinking huge quantities of water to help your system recover. So many peeps do not put water high on the must have supplement list. it is cheap enough, so abuse the shit out of WATER!!!!
 
i am in the same boat bro.. my chest will stay sore for 7 straight days.. mine is by bodypart.. chest stays sore forever.. back rarelt gets sore and is my best bodypart.. tri's will stay sore for 6 days or so.. ect.. but, when i am sore, i am sore for quite a while..
 
Are you using gear? In so case what is your gear history the last months?

If you've been on and went off, and trying to lift the same weigths, you would get very sore. Same thing if you've been of and just started up.

Have you had a break from training over Christmas time? Any time off from training will make you very sore when you start up again.

Have you changed your training regime lately?

All these are sound reasons for getting very sore....
