T4 to T3 conversion ratio

Does anyone know what the conversion ratio for T4 to T3 is? In other words, what dosage of T4 is equivalent to the same dosage of T3?

From what I remember of my reads, at least 4 x. Let's say you want the equivalent of 50 mcg T3, you would have to take 200 mcg T4.
Some even say you need 8 x... wich really shows all those numbers are pure speculation... everyone's so different, depends on how your liver proceeds the drug, etc...

BTW, why would u consider taking T4? It's supposed (speculation again ) to shut you down much more than T3.

I would suggest you guy's to do some research on this theory by using the PDR or MD journals. I thought this as most do on the net, however my indocrinologist stated otherwise.... He is a specialist on thyriod conditions. For what its worth....
