I'VE BEEN TRYING TO EAT CLEAN, CLEAN, JUST A LOT MORE OF IT...STAY HEAVY...BUT GET LEAN IS MY GOAL. SO, I'VE BEEN STUFFING IN THE GRUB.

THIS MORNING I GOT UP AND WAS GOING TO EAT A COUPLE CANS OF TUNA AND SOME FISH OIL. WELL, I GOT ONE CAN OF TUNA DOWN...ACTUALLY ABOUT 3/4 OF A CAN.

FOR SOME REASON IT JUST GROSSED ME OUT THIS MORNING. THE LOOK, THE SMELL, THE TASTE....RAN OUTSIDE AND HURLED IN THE LAWN.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHY....BUT THIS I KNOW...I AM NOT EATING TUNA ANYTIME SOON. :eek:
 
Time for some protein pancakes. 1 cup oatmeal, 1 cup egg whites, 1 scoop choc. protein poeder, Couple of shakes from the cinnamon bottle. Spray pam into a non stick pan and heat her up. Layer with 2 tblsp. peanut butter and a quick spray of syrup and you are good to go.
 
I was feeling that way about lean ground beef this past month. I haven't hurled, but the smell and thought of it grossed me out. Luckily Im over that now. But I am looking forward to Phil's LBA's, so I can take it easy on the protein sources for a while.

It takes alot for me to eat a can of tun now.

try tilapia i have been eatting alot of it, bake it with lemon pepper seasoning, it was on sale this week a walmart for $2.89lb in the frozen 1lb bags. very light tasting, no smell, 4oz raw is equal to 20g of protein. i could easily eat a lb or 2 of this stuff in one sitting but i stick to 2 1/2 pieces to get about 55g of protein in.
 
I dont blame you for getting sick. What are you going to substitute?
 
lol....I'll try all those suggestions.

I had to go back inside and hear my woman tell me the following: "I saw you."

See, I ran outside so she wouldn't see me throw up the mean old tuna.

I then drank a couple scoops of protein and water..took fish oil and headed out with my tail between my legs, in shame.

Nice way to start the day.

Ahhhhh, I get that way too...I have to change up my foods, or I find myself not eating it all due to getting grossed out.

I get that feeling of wanting to puke all over the place too.

Try herring jethro, lots of omega3's in it, it doesnt smell and it tastes good too !

yeh, I've not heard of too many eating tuna for breakfast. I just stick to CapN Crunch so my body won't go into shock if I tried to eat clean.LOL

Try a bowl of Kelloggs Tuna Flakes for breakfast. They are a lot tastier.

Flavored tuna?

Have you tried those pouches of flavored tuna? They're prolly a little higher in sodium than the canned stuff cuz it's tough to rinse it before eating it from the package, but they more than make up for it in flavor. My personal fav is Sweet & Spicy.
 
Bro, I have that same prob. I've been doin kinda the same thing you have. What i've found that works is to mix it up. I can't eat tuna in the am. period! I eat alot of eggs, turkey sausage, egg whites, oatmeal w/ protein. Then throughout the day i mix it up with chicken, fish, steak, brown rice, veggies, etc. I don't really ever eat the same thing at the same time. If i'm dieting and know what i'm bout to eat, and i've been eatin it for months. I jus cringe!! I can't do it, so I kinda mess with my mind a bit. It's been workin so far. I ACTUALLY DO LISTEN AND APPLY WHAT I LEARN HERE. I'D NEVER BOUGHT WALNUTS UNTIL I READ THAT THREAD ABOUT HOW THEY HELP THE ARTERIES.

ANYWAY...THIS MORNING SUCKED....THE NEIGHBOR HAS ABOUT 30 ALLEY CATS HE FEEDS...THOSE BASTARDS WERE WATCHING ME BLOW CHOW.

IT MAY HAVE BEEN MY VIVID IMAGINATION...BUT IT LOOKED LIKE THEY HAD THIS "LOOK" ON THERE FACES...."LOOK AT THAT SICKENING BASTARD"...

IT'S BAD WHEN ANIMALS THAT BARF UP HAIR give YOU THAT CONDESCENDING LOOK.

Same thing I use except no seasoning...Just pop a few in the micro and 1 min and 30 seconds later you have 60g of protien to eat in like 1 minute...quick and easy...
 
I bet you have developed an allergic reaction to the tuna now as well. Switch up for a couple of weeks. It is good to change up protein sources after while.
