Training around injury

I have fucked upp my sciatica nerv(probably herniated lumbar disk) and most things causes incredible pain for me. Now I cant even workout anymore without feeling alot of pain and the exercises the physo therapist told me to do to fix the problem just seems to make things worse.

Has anyone here worked around this kind of injury? And worst case scenerio has anyone ever had to get surgery for that kind of injury and how did that effect you??

Go see a chiropractor. I've had several low back injuries and was able to return to training rapidly thru the use of chiropractic.

Hey I had a buldging disc...L-5 and the doc wanted to do sugery right away. I was 19 and I said no way I am not getting cut into at such a young age. So, I rehabed myself back to 100%

I could not sit for 2 minutes without gettting up...I could not sneeze...I could not cough...I could not hold the squat bar on my shoulders...I could not do much of anything. Sleeping was so painful I had to put blankets under my matress so I could sleep on my back and keep my feet elevated. On the way to the gym, I would pray that I hit every green light so I would not have to sit for a long period.



PM me and I will tell you what I did to get back to 100%

It takes time...took me 3 to 4 months to get to 80% then 4 more to get to 100%
