Interesting you're dropping your volume back so close to the show. I usually see it done the opposite way, aside from about a week out. You find you just plain run out of steam by the end of the workout? That's always been my issue as the diet gets tighter and tighter.

I actually just switched back to the 3-way split, training 4 days per week. I'm in my offseason now though (the final 4 weeks of it, anyways). The 2-way workouts were just getting too long (always over 2 hours).

I did fine with the 2-way workouts at the end of my precontest diet last year, but I was training alone and now I have a partner, which lengthens the workout a good bit.

No, but I'll be there. I have a couple clients in it.

Same as the 2-way but I broke it down to push/pull/legs. So the workouts are shorter, but I train one extra day per week.

I'll use this during my prep.
 
Good luck with the change up...with the way you have grown...im sure your making the right decision.
 
You are doing the right thing. With the increased frequency and intensity and lower volume will help your gains. You wont be disappointed as your workout looks spot on.
