I train 3 times a week every week, one of my splits is back and biceps my question

is it better to train all biceps then all back or do them alternate like back biceps back biceps an so on?

sorry if this is a simple question.

I am not sure I understand your question but

Do your back first then do your biceps. If you fatique your biceps first you can't train back .They are both pulling muscles. But back is the larger and dominant so train it first. Then biceps the smaller less dominant.

I've trained biceps before back for years and both are growing just fine.

That sounds like a pretty good way to train them. Doing back will use biceps indirectly after that blast the biceps bro Marctuskan.

You have to find what works for you, there is really no right and wrong here. For me, I trained complimentary muscles(back/bicep and chest/tricep) for a long time then swapped to opposing. Now on my three day split I do chest and bicep, legs, back and tricep, and I find for me it works better. How do you find out? Keep a training log for two months doing one way, then switch to the other and see.

ive always done bis after back

when i do back and bis together

but

when i do bis and tris together

i do bis first

i like to superset arms. i train them twice per week and do them on both back and chest days. i go really light on arms preferring to go heavier on my basic compound movements. this has worked very well for me.
