Well as most of you know me by now i dont do cardio getting ready for a show. This year i want to see if it makes a difference in my conditioning (although my legs are already flattening out (i measured to confirm) so i guess i gotta eat more carbs after cardio??????? suggestions?) Well....got a laptop stand and can now play on my laptop while i do cardio! Makes this 100x less boring and much easier and acceptable to do! Loving it haha.....im actually doing cardio RIGHT NOW

any help on the leg thing is appreciated
 
If it wasn't for texting and the internet I wouldn't make it! I use my pda while on the mill, on a business trip I was at a marriott and they had a mini keyboard and screen connected to the mill, it was awesome, really kills the time!
 
Nothing really to suggest..Once you start getting to certain bodyfat %, you start to see how much muscle you really have..

I do cardio while watching old action movies..helps a bit more..the best is the part in kickboxer when he kicks the palm tree down..makes u push harder..lol

I don't want to sound like im coming off like a asshole, I'm just saying..I know you know how to diet yourself down..I'm sure your eating enough calories and ur not losing muscle tissue..
 
thats funny, my bro in Ohio says the gym he uses has internet access on the bikes. The screen powers up as long as you are using the equipment, when you stop the screen goes away. I thought it was genius!!!

See that doesnt fly in my situation. My legs didnt shrink cuz of fat. I cant go over 12% no matter what i do, even if i eat mcdonalds n icecream all day n dont move for weeks. They flattened out, plain and simple (i measure daily as im paranoid and theyr down 1/2 inch, which im HOPING is just glycogen)

Here is what my legs look like 3 weeks ago....tell me that i am just losing alot of fat and seeing "how much muscle i really had" haha

Well you know your body more then anyone..But you don't compete at 12% bf?? You compete at 3-5% That's 7+ bf % drop..So you have to lose fat somewhere..to get in stage conditioning..Sure they might been little flat due to lower carb intake and doing cardio..But if your on the internet and doing cardio I'm assuming it's low intensity..Can't be losing much muscle with LT cardio unless ur doings hours a day, which i'm sure your not..

Example: I do HITT cardio, and Since I been dieting I only lost maybe half inch on my leg..Doesn't mean its muscle..can be some water and fat..like I said has to come from somewhere...Pic of my legs last week..10 weeks out. (sry for bad quality, camera phone pic)

Not bad. I dont carry fat in my legs (which is why i def believe its glycogen or muscle loss). I have veins year round. Its all my obliques and back (lower especially). Everywhere else looks like i can diet for 4 weeks and be in show shape haha....my chest, bi's, tri's and legs are all clipping like 2-3's on the calipurs. Its the 14 in my lower back thats killing me lol......

Well i havent done cardio in years lol....so thats why i was asking for suggestions...maybe someone has the same problem or knows what might be going on and what the proper mode of action would be.....
 
Where'd you get your laptop stand for your treadmill? I'm in contest prep right now and have been playing video games and watching tv during it but I think i'd enjoy my laptop a little better..

Honestly? LMAO...my treadmill has 2 rails...i just put a board across it LMAO!!!!!

LOL mine is like 15 years old running strong, but doesn't have any side hand rails just the one in front of you. I'd have to jimmy something together to get it to stay on there.
