True Protein Shipping to Canada

I'm just wondering how many ppl in Canada have experienced longggg shipping waits with the UPS service on their true protein orders. I realize this is a gripe with UPS and NOT true protein, but I'm curious if anyone else has had to wait up to 2 weeks for their order to arrive. It was in the country(Richmond BC) on the 17th and the scheduled date of delivery is Oct.1st. . Seems a bit excessive to me. FK ups :banghead:

Not me, i got it in around 7-8 days. I did ask them to have an alternative to UPS, i.e USPS. but they never responded.

That does seem excessive. Im from canada also and plan on ordering from tp next week

yup. same thing for me. I just plan ahead and order well in advance.
They used to have trueprotein canada. Not to sure what happened with that... I also never had the chance to use it, as I was in dallas at the time.

i'm pretty sure that trueprotein doesn't and never had an office located in canada if that's what you're getting at. their one and only headquarters is in california (san diego i believe).

They had a warehouse of some sort centrally located in Winnipeg, but I recall Dante talking about too much headaches with Customs/Canada Post.

i wasn't aware of this....you're probably right. i do remember dante talking about the hassles though

US --> Canada customs is a headache for anything..if I had ordered something from a US website I'd probably wait the better part of 3 weeks, I remember waiting 27 days for an order before.

According to their website:

We use UPS standard for all packages into Canada, although we do have 2nd day and overnight service as well. Most packages take around 4-7 business days to arrive into Canada. We have worked long and hard to properly bypass many “customs border slow down” run-arounds, and have taken all customs brokerage in house. So your packages is already cleared customs before your package arrives at the border. WE REPEAT, THERE ARE NO ADDITIONAL TAX, DUTY OR BROKERAGE CHARGES. We have taken on all these charges in house and will never be seen by you our Canadian Customer

I just want to reiterate that I was not complaining about TP, they are a fantastic company that I've dealt with before, I was just wondering how long ppl have had to wait for shipping. This is the first time I've used them since 2007 so I was curious if anyone else ran into such slow shipping thru UPS

I havent gone above 7-8 days in southern alberta, but i have heard North ontario takes a bit longer....
