this might be a dumb question to all..but how do you measure out your protein with not having a scoop?

it says 30grams/serving.. would that be smaller than 1/4 cup?

Do you have any other scoops from old containers? 70cc is fairly standard for most protein powders.

You could always bust out the food scale if you've got one and measure it out if you need exact macros. It's pretty close to 1/3 cup though if you are ball parking protein powder. The actual density varies a bit, but if you aren't shooting for a certain macro for each meal it won't be THAT different.

A standard scoop that comes with it is 70cc's. But the whey has to be packed in pretty tight to actually weigh 30grams. Each plastic scoop weighs 8 grams. I figured this out when I decided to randomly weigh the protein before I mixed it and realized that my quick scoops were actually way under 30grams even though the scooper was filled to the top. So now I just know pretty much by feel when I am scooping it but I started out weighing it on a scale. (I know, I know, thinking to much into it). To answer your question. just weigh it first in whatever container that you are going to use as a scooping device and just use the same thing everytime.

i had my scoop from my last protein powder..but i left it out and it got thrown away..it doesnt really matter. i wast just trying to figure out the serving size. i think ill stick with 1/4 cup

Thinking too much typically does NOT lead to one's downfall, lol. It is those that hardly think that cause the problems, IMO.

I think I read on the site faq's it was 1/3 cup. Maybe Dante will chime in

I just used old scoop since Dante pocketted my scoop money n never sent scooper with my order! Ha. I want my 25 cents! Lol

Use a food scale, it's fast and accurate, a scoop will never be close to accurate. You would be suprised how far off most scoops are compared to the serving size. Example, two scoops of gaspari's Myofusion isn't even close to the amount of "one serving" which is supposed to be 2 scoops. It takes close to 3 scoops to get "one serving." Of course a better product like True Protein is closer, but still.

I use a kitchen scale. one of the most useful purchases I've made.
