the best way to filter your product is to draw it up into the syringe, then attach the filter, and filter it into a sterile vial. some filters you can do it the way you did, but not all. with a typical whatman filter i usually do about 60ml before switching to another one. if you are filter large volumes (a few hundred ml) then i would look into using steri cup's and a hand pump.

I would use about 100ml max then change filter.

Hes right here you want to push the gear through the fliter not suck up through it. I would refilter that gear if you did that. I push about 50ml of product through a filter, then switch.

i agree i think at around 80mls its going to be tuff to push through I would go 60 and change the filter and dont reuse it once you are done..one time use bro
