I’m well aware creatinine isn’t an accurate test for us as bodybuilders. That’s not the point of this post.

@danieltx directed me toward vitamin shoppe brand specifically and urged me to read @DOGGCRAPP many posts regarding VS brand astragalus. I know for a fact I’m training harder now than I was in July and September and the number keeps trending down. 6-8g daily split AM/PM.

Just wanted to add to the evidence pile.

Just to add on, mine are below. Best reading ever on 11/15/24 which was for insurance bloods.

Note that my Cystatin C is fine and eGFR from it in the 90s but here are my creatinine readings (which drive a shit eGFR when derived from it). Basically since 2011 records I've been between 1.41 and as high as 1.67. No pattern other than higher generally on tren - not always though. Some readings high, some low over time. Hasn't gotten worse over the near 15 year period and 2024 pre-Astragalus I posted a 1.45 which is close to my best from 2011-2024 though the 1.30 on 11/15 crushes hit and all previous numbers.

I started Vitamin Shoppe Astragalus around mid-August I think/maybe early September. 2024 Got my lowest reading ever on 11/15/24. Seemed to take a while to really drop, beyond published literature average, but eventually did.

Add my thanks to @danieltx and @DOGGCRAPP and anyone else I should be thanking that was active in that thread. Also happy new year to the aforementioned and all of ProMuscle!

1.30 on 11/15/24
1.49 on 10/30/24
Started 8g Astragalus split am/pm around 8/15/2024
1.45 on 5/28/24
1.67 on 3/30/24
1.51 on 6/30/23
1.60 on 2/9/23
Earlier 2023 to 2011 has ranged 1.66-1.41

Something to keep in mind. The more compliant you are with your newfound CPAP therapy, glomerular hypertension decreases. In return, gradual eGFR increase =gradual decrease of creatinine.

I'll toss the obvious out there, too. Osomloity is a huge driving force for fluctuations of creatinine.

Very good point to make, thank you!
