What do you think of my revised routine?

Okay, so after reading Lat's story about the pro who trains every other day, and then reading something by Big A about never training 2 days in a row, I've decided to drastically alter my routine. Here is what I want to do.
Monday - Thighs and calves
Tuesday - off
Wednesday - Chest and back
Thursday - off
Friday - Shoulders, traps and arms
Sat and Sun off
I'll get my abs in there somewhere. So what do you think?

if i remember correctly you are the guy who is 53, right ? Well I am getting very close to 50 now myself and I have been doing the eod routine for a few years now, it seems to help me quite a bit, I used to do the M,T.TH,F thing but can't really handle it anymore, even with recovery aids it is too much because I still work construction all day and find my body doesn't like all that work anymore, so now I go M,W,F, I do chest and tris, back and bi's and legs and shoulders, every other time I alternate shoulders first .
 
EOD IS TH EBST WAY TO TRAIN IN MY OPINION.. i cant handle two days in a row without feeling sluggish in the second workout.. i wish i had better recup powers but, it has not geotten better in twenty-5 years.. i dont expect it to get better at 40..:rolleyes:

Lats, Thor I'm pushing 47 yrs old and doing 6 days straight with little to no problems, now given this I'm not 53 but still doing good if I need a break I just take a couple of days off but here is my workout.

I don't know how you do that man, like LATS if i do 2 days in a row I am sluggish on my second day.
 
I am 48 and I did the 3 days a week, it worked good for size. I am now working out 4 and will bump it up to 5 and concentrate more on cardio, keeping weight training down to the basics. I am now trying to get leaner.
