What to do when you miss a day

I missed legs today because my gym closed early. My split is:
day 1: shoulders, abs, forearms
day 2: back, biceps
day 3: legs, abs
day 4: chest tri's

My question is, should I just skip legs this split and hit chest and tri's tomorrow like always or just bump every workout back one day and hit legs tomorrow?
 
i would train legs tomorrow and use today as a rest day. Just pick up where you left off at.
 
Just as MM said. take that day as a rest day and pick it up on the next day. Your body has no idea what day of the week it is, only your brain knows this. it will break up the normal routine.
 
i have to agree adjust accordingly. i personaly never miss a day, i have wieght equipment at home to prevent gym mishaps. i just hate lifting at home dont feel i give it my all i guess. either way though i figure if i cant go to the gym its going to stare at me through the floor. so i get off my ass and get if over with. :D
 
Its really not that big of a deal. I can take months off a body part at a time and come back with a few good training sessions to where I left off making progress.
 
Hey bro I think I saw you last night and it looks as if you missed a leg workout, did you? Man those legs looked small. You should never mis a leg workout...:D :D :D for real bro no big deal enjoy the day off
 
It's so hard to "enjoy" a day off. I love lifting. Not to the same extent but it's kind of like saying to a smoker, "enjoy your day off of smoking." I know somebody else feels the same..

yeah off days for the most part suck, but you have to know its good for you. You grow outside the gym not in it.

I often will stick to schedule but if event coming up I dont like to neglect body parts.
 
Thanks guys, I just skipped legs, my pants are getting a little tight anyways.
