Tough one. Chicken breast In a way because it's cheap lean protein and I know by having 5 a day i have a solid protein base. I'm big on eggs and rice too and enjoy steak and nuts but chicken breast ed whether carb day, carbless day whatever
I would completely lost without chicken. I love all my other protein sources, but there is nothing else i could eat twice a day for over 10 years and not get sick of. Plus it is extremely versitile, so i would have to say chicken.
In terms of a bbing diet for me it's quality whey.
-cheaper to use it on a daily basis to help meet protein requirements (in my case, it's cheaper then eating quality meats for all my meals)
-easier to digest then other sources of protein for me
-its rich in bcaa's.
I should also add gun ... that I too believed pro and fat to be most valuable as everyone says there are no essential carbs..
But I think this idea is flawed because when you train to put on muscle the number fuel is always going to be sugar .. so the only time we should limit this is when we are trying to have our body use fat stores as energy in a cut
