So I'm going to start revamping my diet now that I'm working with phil, and was wondering what vegetables you all eat that are the easiest/best?

I'm a big fan of aspargas (microwaved with black pepper) and raw braccoli.

Technically not vegetables, but I could eat green peas and beans (white, red, all of them) all day long for months straight. Beans especially mix really well with rice and meat.

Lots of fibers.

Raw brocoli and sliced bell peppers. I like my veggies raw. And of course sweet potatoes nuked and add butter buds, splenda and apple pie spice...

I think this is something you can figure out for yourself..and its really not that hard to do.

i bought a $30 rice steamer from costco, it has a vegetable tray in it. I steam asparagus, brocolli, carrots, spinach, boch choi, artichokes, pretty much any vegetable i want to eat gets steamed in there. It only takes about 10-15 minutes.
If you need some spice, sprinkle a little mrs dash over it when served or steam with chicken stock or something to give a little flavor. I prefer it the way it is with nothing added, but maybe im wierd :D

That's what i do as well

Steamed broccoli makes up a pretty large portion of my veggie intake, other than that it's usually raw spinach salads.

i eat bags of baby spinach like chips. it tastes weird for some at first, but you eventually start to like the taste.

Brocoli, Aspargus, Spinach and Lettuce should be your only carb source .

I got the same one. Aroma right??

Going to bump whoever said sweet potatoe/yams. I like to bake mine 350 for 70 minutes on a piece of foil. Once it's done I cut longways and flip it into a big bowl or on a plate so the cut is down, then if you get a hold of the skin it will just pull right off in one or two pieces. Add some butter buds and you are G2G.

Thats a bold statement. Whats your reasoning?

What about green beans, zucchini, brussell sprouts? Why shouldnt you eat these?

My diet has lapsed over the last two weeks and your post reinforces my intention to get back to eating right.

The basic/common vegetables are still the best ones: carrots, corn, broccoli, beans and peas. They are rich in nutrients and fibre and are all easy to prepare in the microwave. If you buy them frozen (unless you shop at farmer's markets frozen vegetables are often better than supermarket "fresh" produce) they can be ready to eat in under two minutes.

Steamfresh broccoli or green beans...easy and convienient!

Im talking specifially for him. Not in general.

the green valley steamers are awesome.

Just curious as to why you are asking this - unless Phil's diet outline for you is drastically different, you should know what vegetables to eat already...
