I saw an advertisment for lawyers looking for people to file a lawsuit against supplements that have ephedra in them. amoung the list were: Metabolife, ripped fuel, Xenadrine and about 7 others. The litigation has begun..Fucking lawyers are going to ruin this country. When are people going to quit blaming other people for there problems.

ummm, never.... why should i take responsiblity for my actions when i can blame someone else? that why it's NEVER my fault and I have nothing to feel guilty/bad about. i do believe thats the mind set of most people nowadays...sad...very sad.

I hear ya... but not all lawyers are assholes out to make a buck at your personal freedom's expense. Just look at Rick Collins, he is certainly the counterpoint and obviously an advocate for personal rights especially with regard to OTC supplements.

FYI - he's the counsel for the United Supplement Freedom Association who wants the truth to be told in all supplement related matters (not a one side witch hunt, a la the Steroid Act).

yeah me too, when i was a kid and tried to say something wasnt my fault or blame it on my brother or some shit my mom would smack me in the face and tell me to take responsibility and just deal with it.

You really can't blame the lawyers. It's the juries that make
the decisions to award bad behavior. Since juries are made
from the population at large then all of us are indirectly
involved in the blame game. I wonder how many bodybuilders
and gym rats were in favor of suing big tobacco? Just a thought.

Certainly not all lawyers but there are some personal injury lawyers who smell money when there are deep pockets involved and screw the truth, its about what you can get a jury to believe.
