Now I’m not old, but I’m no spring chicken anymore (36).

I was at the gym yesterday doing deadlift work and some fluff and pump. These 3 kids (maybe 22-25yrs) were benching.

you ever get that vibe when you KNOW someone is about to come talk to you, but you put your earbuds in and hoodie up trying to give off “leave me alone”……didn’t work.

One walks up to me, hey man….what’s the bands over the deadlift bar do? Soo I go about explaining accommodating resistance and all that bullshit. What’s funny in this conversation is that we both know that’s not the question he wants to ask.

So we chit chat between sets, and then it comes. “Hey man, what do you usually run?” I lie, I say, oh I’m just very liberal with my HRT dose. I don’t mind telling people what I do, but I’ve never seen this human before now.

So he says, yea, I’m on 750 test, and 600 deca, and yk-11.

In my mind I’m like Jesus Christ. (I have no idea how strong or effective yk-11 is, but I do believe it’s one of the more potent SARMS. Mind you, this guy is taller than me, so probably around 5’ 11”, and no way in hell he’s over 195lbs.

Thats a fuckton of gear for his size right? Or did I just get old and conservative?
 
Yeah to much.

At my job a few months ago a customer right off the bat said “what’s your cycle” I replied a Harley Fat Boy and we both laughed. He had some size I could tell he’s used. So I replied what are you on and he said I power lift and highest was Teat 500mg now I’m trying to get my wife pregnant and I did so I said congrats and talked bodybuilding.

He could also just be a really shitty responder to anabolics. Lots of factors there including lifestyle, diet, alcohol intake, etc,etc.. or fake gear lol!
 
Way to much and sadly probably his first dose. I train at a Club-4 andnwe have 3 high-school in this to town so the amount of kids is a pain in the ass.
Its scarry and sad to hear some of the doses these children are taking and how how easy it is to get off Instagram.

Lol I would have said something a bit snarky as well! Kids these days in the gym think they are hotshots just to impress girls....
 
I’m 5’10 250 and running 750 test, 350 NPP and I feel like I’m on too much sometimes. That’s a shit ton for his size and experience level. Probably fake though lol
 
When people ask me for gear advice i just recommend this site. Then do a search on littleslice and read👀

Whatever happens to him? Last thing I remember was the dnp OD accident
 
I like going to the gym. I find it very entertaining between sets. It has been a fairly rare experience for me to be asked much. I must not as approachable as others do. I find staring someone right in the eyes tends to put them off. One of the last imes i was approached by a guy was a pro strongman that asked if he could get some advice. Course he wanted advice about dealing with an injury he had. As he thought i would have experience in that area. But hey, it was still a pro asking me for advice so i will take that as a compliment.

I’ve just joined a club-4 about a month ago because it’s the best option for a 24/7 access where I live. It sounds very familiar with the amount of kids and most of them don’t re rack their weights. My response to questions about gear is I can’t for medical reasons

Gotta agree with this.

Hate gym conversation, waste of time, once you give someone a head nod or hello they take it as an invitation to future chat aka unproductive time In the gym. Sometimes I'll talk to a kid who asks about training if they seem overall quiet and overall keep to themselves and have a very specific question...but for those looking just for general tips, attention, conversation it's " saw it on YouTube, check there for workout stuff" then resume my set
