Your favorite preworkout meals to maximize your pump?

Preworkout supplement on empty stomach...still get sick pumps and vascularity. Liquid cialis is gold !
 
McDonalds double cheeseburger. Just one when I'm in a rush to the gym and have an empty stomach. No fries, nothing but just that one double and maybe some water. Works wonderfully. I believe there is also a scientific study that backed this up. I'll have to find the link.

Can you see your abs?
 
Full tummy doesn't work for me.

Solids 2 hours prior. Some strong coffee with a splash of milk 30 minutes before and I can do 50 minutes intense or 1:20h moderate.
 
Lately a Lenny & Larry's Complete Cookie (usually PB flavor) with TN whey ISO shake. The cookies are soft and taste awesome. 14g fat, 54g carb, 16g protein per cookie.

Four scrambled fresh eggs from my chickens
A big bowl of grits with some cheddar cheese I mix it all together it's my favorite meal of the day. I'll have two cups if black coffee and 50 mg of Viagra with it!

60g iso whey shake
60g cream of rice
1tsp nut butter
Zero cal choc sauce
45mins b4 workout

Then intra
20g eaas
50-80g hbcd
 
I get the best pumps when I have a high number of carbs and high sodium the day before. I don't notice much resulting from a pre workout meal.


But I do usually have about a half cup of oats, 1/2 cup of egg whites, and maybe a pop tart/muffin 1 hr prior to training for energy.
 
I like to have oats with banana pieces, sultanas, peanut butter and chocolate protein powder mixed in about 1 hour pre training. That pretty much covers all bases and I digest it fairly easily. I usually train for a while and start slow (warm up)so it doesn't slow me down and gives me sustained energy.

Today I had a double cheesburger from McDonalds and a large latte from Starbucks :eek: Just had that as we had been out and not ate much and planned to train legs and it definitely helped out. Some fat and lots of sodium pre workout is not a bad thing if you are very hungry. No more eating like that from now on though. I never eat at Mcdonalds ever but they are literally the only 2 places open on a Sunday over here.
 
1 cup Greek yogurt
Add 1 scoop protein powder to yogurt
1 banana
2oz dark chocolate bar 70% cocoa

45 min before workout. Something about the chocolate just amps the pump up.

1-1.5h before workout 120gr basmati rice, 200gr chicken breast, 1tbsp soy sauce, 15gr coconut oil
 
im trying to figure out how guys have the best pumps in training by having a small amount of carbs and higher protein and fats, more so than the other way around having higher carbs that would actually fill ur glycogen stroage .. makes no sense to me

Same here, but I usually do without the intra's and just sip on water only...mostly. If not this, i'll have a crunch bar (Robert Irvine's).
 
I've tried it all but being full doesn't work for me.

If I have oats and whey, HAS to be an hour or two before.
Sometimes I do JM's cream of rice, whey and PB mix or one of his Best Bar Ever's. Has to be an hour before though.

I work out first thing in the AM, usually 6AM. So most of the time it's just pre workout and me sipping my Intra on the way to the gym.
