2nd Cycle review please - Test/EQ

Just looking for some feedback on a proposed cycle.
Goal would be to put on 20lbs of lean muscle in a 16 week cycle and keep almost all of it.
I've done one cycle before of Test E at around 500mg/week. Was happy with the results but had no issues with sides at all so I wouldn't mind stepping up the dosing a little to push for better results.
Stats are 6', 182lbs. Will probably be around 187lbs by the time I start the cycle.
I do not want nor need your opinion on if I should cycle. My diet and training are in check. I understand the risks and rewards. I'm simply looking for some feedback on the following cycle.

Aromasin @ 12.5mg EOD will be used from weeks 1 -20
PCT of Nolva/Clomid will be started a week after my last test P pin and will be 40/100 the first week and 20/50 the next week.
HCG will be used every 4rth week at 500iu/day for 4 days straight.

You did 500mg of test and made great gains, so do you think you are going to get twice the results with double the dose? Stick with the 500mg again or 600mg and eat good and train smarter and harder. You don't need HCG at that dose, rather save it at the end for PCT. I don't want to burst your bubble, but you will not put on 20 pounds of muscle. It doesn't work that way. Slow down and take small jumps with AAS, not large ones. You will grow as long as you don't overtrain and under eat.
 
the dudes that say they put on 20 pounds of lean mass usually don't count the fat and water weight they gain :D


Pesty, I heard you say that about HCG and dose related issue before...my experience is that at any dose of test I get shutdown and the HCG makes me feel much much better...less 'zapped'...my sex drive goes up even more and my strength goes up and I feel less lethargic when I take HCG during cycle of even 500mg test.
 
20lbs seems reasonable. I gained 15 last time around. That was a lighter cycle and was only 12 weeks. I could have pushed that number up to 25 if I had not taken Aromasin. But I think the reason I haven't lost hardly any of my gains is that I wasn't carrying the water most guys count as gains and then lose.

If I was going to cut this cycle back to closer to 600mg/week of total AAS would you do 200mg test and 400EQ or just drop the EQ all together and do another straight test cycle?

2nd cycle, just boost up the test slightly, to 600mg. Save the EQ for next time at 500 test and 200 EQ, This way you are making slow gains that will stick. You are not putting on all muscle with 15 pounds. Eat 2 gams per pound for protien and 2 1/2 for carbs, 1/2 per pound for fats, to see good growth.

To answer the above post, I never have problems with energy or strength, during a cycle. I contribute that to my diet and not overtraining.
 
your diet and how you train will determine how much weight you put on and keep. if this is your first time with eq, i like your proposed dosage. many people see nice results off 400mg /week. i didnt notice anything until around the 600mg/wk mark....i have to agree that a cycle like this wont shut you down that hard, thus i would hold off on the hcg. i really didnt see the need for hcg until my cycles got longer, beyond the 12 week mark and taking heavier dosages. every one is different, trial and error brudda....good luck. eat big and lift big. keep us posted.
 
I think the advice you gave was good except for the bolded section....my first cycle was 400mg cyp a week and I will tell you this, I wish I had used HCG. I came of depressed, lost a lot of size, balls were severely shrunk, etc. After that experience I have always run HCG with my cycles and it has made my transitions into pct almost seamless and I recover better/faster, my 2 cents!

HCG will be included regardless of what I decide to do. Why wouldn't you want to recover faster?
I wish I had included it in my last cycle as well.
 
Mota remember that time on = time off. You should still be doing pct if not at the end from your first run. By the standard rule you should wait four more months. I see how you gained your first run, but every consecutive cycle yields less of a result than the last. I have been training for 20 years and I have never gone past 850mg's total a week. I can tell you that you will not respond the way that you think. In my opinion your cycle is no good.
 
Just remember one thing bro. We don't want to be held responsible for your health. If you ask for cycle advice you will always get the moderate/low dose answers because some people feel it is the "safe" thing to do. But here's my take on that. If you are concerned with health than why the fuck are you using steroids in the first place? Stay natural hypocrites. Your goals and health may be different than theirs. For my first cycle I ran 500mg/wk total and barely saw any gains. Everything was in check. The reason, I was 250lbs already at about 12%. 500mg just wasn't enough. So I bumped it to 1000mg/wk total for the next cycle and I gained over 20lbs and only 3% fat on my second cycle. No sides what-so-ever. But like I said dude, everybody is different. For some people this is too much, for some, like myself it isn't enough to grow anymore.
Some people are more prone to honest than others are. Sorry if this offends anybody. Do what you think is best for yourself bro.

I agree with the HCG advice. Never do a cycle without it. You can throw in little clomid blasts or low dose EOD throughout the cycle and it works better than HCG at keeping the nads working. IMO

Thanks man. I wasn't too worried about it anymore. I'm going with it as posted will be starting up in a little over a week. Still holding my weight at 181-184lbs so I haven't lost any gains but I can't seem to make any forward progress right now. My training has been a little messed up with being out of town for a week, then sick for a week, then snowboarding for 4 days. Can't wait to do nothing but eat and rest for a couple days over Christmas and then start up and hit the gym hard. :)
