55 pullups

pretty impressive...but i did pullups like that in middle school because i couldnt do it the right way...
 
I see a lot of the crossfit guys do pull ups the same way. It seems like you are getting less of a workout like that but maybe I'm crazy????
 
bang 'em out

those are classic "kip" chins, ala Marine Corps. style...I only got 33 in boot camp this way

now days I lean back as far as possible and hit nipple line chest to bar, much better for results

2nd battalion, hotel company, parris island 1991! we used the kip as well.
 
I've never seen this style before, it looks kinda Malaka.. though.
I can get about 30-35 good ones, I'm going to do back today, so I will see how many I get out of curiosity.

But that way scares me, I'm afraid that I would pull something, I'm not into those jerky/swinging movements at all.

That is an impressive amount of endurance though, I would be worn out from that right away!

honest truth those are possible the worst "pullups" ive ever seen id rather see 15 good ones with no legs swinging for momentum. Looks like something u would see a hoodlum doing on a corner in a big city im not impressed at all. At 1:36 just one second before the video ends pause it and look at his lat development its lagging compaired to his chest and arms, for one reason his form sucks!

swinging pullups like a ten year old is great and to tape it is even better. no doubt he is strong but dont tell me them pullups are good.
 
I don't care about the chin-ups . . .
most people couldn't even hang
from a bar for that long.

I agree, that it does take a lot of endurance, for the record I did 30 today.
Furthermore, it is the endurance that is tough, I couldnt' hang too much longer. So the hanging part especially swinging like that is tough, so props for that!

I may tape myself when I get a new camera. I had a mirco-dv, but it broke, never buy one of those! Mini-Dv is much better.
 
I didn't see one proper pull up.

x2 i am sorry but i have to agree, imagine how much bigger ud be and how much more back developement you would have if you have done them proper from day one. BUTTT still impressive.
