Between 'Bigger, Stronger, Faster' and news pieces like this, the whole anti-steroid front comes off as uniformed, witch-hunting idiots. Which they actually are.
MLB should actually embrace PEDS...PED enhanced players singlehandedly revived the sport from the ashes in the late 90s. People WANT to see freak 500+ ft homeruns, not a bunch of strategically placed groundballs.
On a side note, many of the most voiciferous anti-steroid people I've met over the years have been morbidly obese, married to equally obese spouses (that is, IF they've managed to get laid), and spend an inordinate amount of time playing board games and reading comic books.
Personally, I think there's an underlying psychological issue with most of the anti-steroid crowd.
