Abcess'

Why are soo many people getting them lately? I used to inject everything into the same areas and what not and never got one. Over use can't really be that big of an issue, can it? Are people just not being clean about there process? What leads to so many guys having problems lately?

Also, the explosion of home made stuff. I bet you a $1.50 that if juice was legalized and everyone was using pharmaceutical quality stuff abscess problems would disappear.

i've noticed on some of the pros there looks to be circular scars on the sides of their shoulders...ronnie and ruhl to be exact. take a look at the new pics in MD and you'll definately see what i mean. are these from abcess' do you think?

I just got one that was about the size of a baseball on my bicep recently. It was homemade gear but I think it may have been to injecting too much too frequently in one spot. It was hard after awhile to push the plunger in there. I won't do biceps anymore. They drained it 3 times and I still have a little bulge there. The gear was all filtered and I always prep. the area with alcohol so go figure.

This is all odd to me. I notice this alot more with people that are doing shots on the bi's and other site injections. I don't understand how it can be from freqeuncey(sp). I did fina on an ed basis and did countless cc's in both bi's and never had a problem. Could it be after care that causes a problem with people and there site injections. Or is it all based on quality of there gear, mean ratios of ba and the cleanliness of the product.

the bad thing is that underground stuf in filtered bad,i know one lab which is very good,and they refiltered twice,so you know its clean,its great its pain free and goes so smooth,i love it.but filtering that would be the main thing,and thats what makes thing go wrong.

Also, think about the people that are making your gear. Yeah, they advertise cheapier, but to me that shows they are making mass amounts in a short period of time...that could lead to laziness and error on their part. YEs I know this is not rock science, but you still need to be clean when making your goodies. I think people just get a high demand for their stuff and get lazy when making it...therefore, we as a consumer pay...so becareful with the home brew.

I wonder if high BA content could contribute to it as well? My test phenylprop. was a little bit high in BA and did cause some swelling in spots. I got it mixed up with my BB when I converted it. Just a thought, I can't think of anything else. All I know now is that I have a nice scar there to show for it.

I dont know if its a lately thing, meaning I dont think thiers a lot of bad batches of gear everyone or just more irresponsible people, I think its always happened you probalby just notice it more because you hear about it a lot easier when connecting to people through the net.

I got my first and hopeflly last last year from what I beleive is from injecting way too much enath in the same shoudler or too often. Every abcess Ive heard about thiers a story behind. most recently it seems mostly from home brew gear. Other then that just dont re use needles, get into practice of wipping your site with alcohol pad along with the septum, and if your going to shoot air into your bottles to create pressure, draw back on syringe with the it still capped. Just some basic obvious stuff, but its probably rushing through the basic stuff thats responsible for most abcesses.

more BA i think should prevent infection even more, just increase the irratation. I had some very high BA dilutted prop, which i just re-dilluted down with some sterile oil, which resolved the problem.

Yeah that's what Idid, just added more oil to it. I do know that it was alot harder to inject in the spot after awhile. Maybe a pocket was building up? Homebrew, who knows?

it's not just the homebrew stuff though. the scar tissue plays a big part in this too. a bro of mine just had an abcess in his thigh and went to his doc. he pretty much just shot thigh's and would sometimes rotate to glutes. the doc said it was from so much scar tissue, the hormone/oil wasn't disipating fast enough from the site. he was using european gear.

You say you were injecting in the same shoulder too often. How often where you doing it. I hit the same spot once every every 9 days but with my new cycle may be doing it every 7 days. Think it is too often?

I never knew you should draw back with the cap still on but of course it makes sense.

Since the thigh is so large you think you can poke in the upper thigh on the side and then 5 days later go about 8" farther down the leg and consider it a different area if you are shooting 1.5ml?

That's one reason I think the freqeuncy thing doesn't make that much sense. Unless its a problems with things that are "long acting" taking more time to disperse. but that still doesn't hold much validity as I was doing eod injects of sust in the same for areas.

I alternated shoulders EOD, so every 4 days with 250mg/enath

exactly I was using enath, sometimes sus. it made my shoulders really swell up and I had no problems for a long time but im sure its because it was long acting, prop I can do in same spot EOD with no probs..

how do you tell a doc??

If you develop an abcess, what do you actually SAY to the doc? isn't he going to know what it is, and report it on your insurance or something??
