Watching it now... just saw David Henry pose in the finals, he should take this one, clearly. We'll see what happens.

KENNY JONES LOL

Oh man ... I just looked through the prejuding pics and realized that the immortal KENNY JONES is competing! LOL.

I got a story about this guy, but I'll play nice. Let's just say I met him in Brooklyn at a certain gym chain. I complimented him, he was very nice to me, but said "Your biceps are too big" "You're doing back wrong." "You're not big enough" .. ON and on and on.

I did nothing but compliment this guy and ask for advice, and most of the time he was cool, but damn - don't tell me all the crap I'm doing wrong..

Anyway, he started a juice bar in this club. He started to build it up, get some sales happening, installed a kitchen in the front of the gym, etc. Then all of a sudden he was gone. Like, disappeared. I asked the manager and owner what happened and the response was, "Ahh... well... it didn't work out".

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm....

But I digress... just found it interesting to see him competing.

Big Heinz was in it, i believe. He looked really soft, like he was holding a lot of water. Possibly spilled over. Not trying to flame, just my opinion of how he looked. Still he's on stage as a pro, something i couldnt do!

phil heath just won it.....darrem charles didn't look to happy......3 guys making there pro debut in the top 5......wow.....great show!

Heath looked awesome but I always feel so bad for Darrem, he always seems to get the shaft.

Good to see Jason Arntz up in the top 10 as well

phil heath was crazy looking, full muscle bellies and conditioning was out of this world! i was very impressed with what phil brought to this show, he is going to be a force in this sport very very soon! he has changed like jekle and hyde just since jr. nationals, CRAZY!

Darrem didn't get the shaft and Phil very deservingly got the win. I was sitting in the front row right by the IFBB judges and saw things how the judges saw it. Darrem looked better in the morning but got softer as the day went on, Phil got harder and harder. Darrem did have better striations in his quads and a little bit better back lat spread but Phil had him on everything else.

A few no-name type guys really impressed me. There was a dude from Sweden that was MASSIVE, forgot his name, but he weighed in at 285 lbs. If he were drier I think he could could take Marcus Ruhl.

Anyway, awesome show and I can't wait for next years.

Wished you could have grubbed with us at the Cheescake Factory after the Pro Show. We sat right by Darrem, Bill Willmore, Dave Henry, Bob Chic and others. It was fun!

he ended up 7th.


his condition was sick, but he lacked some quad sweep and his delts didn't quite "pop" like they used to. his back is still a weak point as well. he was also having trouble hitting alot of his poses, which i think hurt his placing.

despite his weak points, i believe that if he had hit his poses well he would have been top 5.
