Bad Triceps Shot (Mr Biceps)

Guys take a look at my red- swollen arm from a tricep spot injection..Its the second time since Christmas and yes it hurts like crazy..

Apparently the gear I shot up had too much alcohol in it..

Anyone else ever had this happen?

I've been having a lot of pain wherever I've been injecting - more like a pulled muscle type of pain. Mine aren't red, hot, or swollen but take between one and two weeks to go away.

Yours, on the other hand, look like there's a problem. If your doc doesn't know you use, you can tell him it was a B-12 injection (or something not illegal) that gave you this.

i had the same problem from qv Shit.guy dont get me wrong i just had very bad experiance with it.but i had in my shoulder.it was double size,a lot of pain,i couldnt lift my arm whatsoever,i mean in.it was bouth time like for 5 day each shoulder,after that i just put it in the garbage.so i know what do you feel bro.

Agree with Phil - go to a doctor. If you have an infection (which it appears you do) and it becomes septic (enters bloodstream) you are FUCKED. That is nasty looking, btw, you might end up with him having to drain it (although I can't tell if its largely edema do to localized inflammation, in which case no drains), and having you on Rocephin (ceftriaxone sodium, injectible antibiotic), and possible Cephalexin (Keflex, oral antibiotic). Understand this, if it becomes septic, you will have to face the potential for subsequent organ failure and more.... Have I scared you enough to go to the doctor? Good.

First thing I would do is stop injecting whatever is causing that. You shouldnt be getting that.

Yes its happened everytime I did a spot injection.. I threw the stuff in the trash so to speak..

Ive got a doc appointment today.. I think I will take excel advise and tell him it was a b-12 shot..My doc would not take well to the thought of me using test.He would probably call my enocrinologist and casue problems for me..

Why does too much BA hurt?

How can too much BA cause an infection? Looks to me like BA would keep down infection..

Can someone explain this too me..

I really dislike quad shots because they are painful for me..My shoulders sometimes get sore from delt shots and I feel it irritates my rotator cuffs..

Ive done my best with tri-glute shots until now..

Phil I was also told it may be cellutitis when thi shappened right before Christmas.. This is the second time now but not on the same arm..

I'm led to believe the gear just had too high of a BA content in it.. I;m gonna do some research on cellutitus..

Funny thing is the first time aroud I though my wife had hit a nerve to cause this problem because the injection was very painful. The second time around was a painless shot??

That fucking sucks.

A close friend of mine injected some bunk T-300 and his ass swelled up like a baloon. He had to be taken to the emergency room and the doctor gave him a long lecture about "how bad steroids are."

Hey bro, you will be glad you went to the doc. One time I got cellulitis, it had nothing to do with steroids though. I got an infection in my pinky finger somehow, and by the time it was late afternoon on the SAME day, I shit you not, cellulitis had spread up to my armpit. The doc said it was very fast moving and no joke. They even gave me antibiotics via IV and made me sit in the hospital for like 3 hrs to make sure I was ok. Boy, did it fuck me up. I couldn't believe how fast that stuff was taking over. Anyways, a day and a half later, and I was completely back to normal. Not trying to scare ya, just supporting your doc visit. If you find anything out let us know.
