He was a bad ass....I can remember watching Confucius theater on the USA channel as a little kid with my grandma (she is 100% Japanese and loves karate movies) and watching his movies on there....he was awsome and so was his son in "The Crow" that was a badass movie to..
He would have to be a badass in order to say in a competition "i can beat anybody in just 60 seconds"!! I still remember that from the movie they did a few years ago on his life story. I get choked up every single time I see that movie! Definatly one of the good guys of his time.
Bruce appeared in a movie in which the story line went like this:
An actor in a play was shot with a gun with 'blanks'. Well in the play someone had switched the blanks for live rounds and the actor in the play was killed. Again no one REALLY died it was part of the movie.
Fast forwand, Brandon is acting in a movie in Wilmington NC, he does an interview with People Magazine and for some strange reason he wants it done in a cemetary. Few days later Brandon is doing a scene in the movie in which he gets shot. Yep you guessed it live rounds some how were switched for the blanks and he is shot and killed.
NO idea how or why they were not using a gun which could not use live ammo but this is what happend. Shooting was stopped and investigation insued. Never did find out how it happened that live rounds were in the gun. I know this because I was in Wilmington at the time and had a VERY small part in the movie.
The TV show Kung Fu with David Carridine(SP?) was supposed to star Bruce Lee. It was his Idea. But I cant imagine Bruce Lee in that role. I think it would have been beneath him and his skills as a Martial Artist.
