I am 40yso, 6'0", 195lbs. I am training to compete in the Phil Heath Classic in March 15, 2014, make physique division. I would love to hear from some guys who compete in this division. If you respond to this thread we can go from there.
I am currently using Layne Norton's cutting diet plan which had me consuming 1.5lbs of protein per pound of body weight, 21-24% fat and the remainder of my calories goes to carbs. I eat egg whites with a couple whole eggs, oatmeal, chicken breasts, salmon, mixed veggies, yams, dates, almonds, rice, lentils and whey protein. I am at a600 calorie deficit from baseline. Supplements are a multi vitamin, digestive enzymes, glutamine and gaspari size on for intraworkout.
Would love to hear some tips from guys who have been there. Your response is greatly appreciated in advance.
