Ive got the usual fat around my waist and some on my pecs and behind them stretching into my pits a little. Not a lot...but enough that I am getting a little irritated. In fact....I could deal with the belly more than I can my chest.
I don't necessarily eat clean and I do eat a lot. Right along, I always figured it was my diet that was contributing. Fortunately, I carry little to no fat anywhere else.

So...Im talking to a trainer at the gym I am friendly with. She seems to have her wits when it comes to most things and we were talking about the, "chest" fat. In a nutshell, she basically relayed that she thought it came from my workout not necessarily from diet. That to me....just doesn't seem to make sense.
Then I got to thinking...you know the whole rule about not working out over an hour? I have a tendency to do that....and I wind up overtraining. (Im struggling with that).
Don't they say that after working out over a eriod of time releases cortisol or some bullshit like that? Could Overtraining contribute to it?

Im just wondering where I am going wrong here cause I don't load up on shit. My workouts are tough, and like I said, if anything I overtrain.

Any insight?

no,no, and no, she's full of crap. everyone's body deposits adipose tissue differently. you start creating a caloric deficit and your body will burn off the fat and eventually reveal the chest muscles, abdominal muscles, etc. etc.

Ask your self this bro has this been an area that your body stores fat most of your life. and its a bitch to get rid of trust me i know

Chest Fat

Makes zero sense. Zero. How can exercise create fat deposits? I hope she's cute.

Well...shit...thats what I am thinking...I always was told that shit like this had to do with diet.

Then I got to thinking about other shit.
At least I can live with the fact that I eat a shitload of food, but focusing on my workout...WTF. That part is pretty consistent. Im trying to bulk some, so I know I am going to have some fat....guess I just need to pick and choose what I want to live with.

bro, I have the same problem. Fat likes to be on the lower stomach and around the tits. I rationalize it by saying, "yeah, but that's where my body hair grows, so it's an evolutionary thing that the hair likes to be where the fat is."

Large amount of fat deposits in the trunk region is a sign of a degree of insulin resistance. Look it up - metabolic syndrome or syndrome X outlined by Raven. Most people in the western culture have a degree of it - and due to prenatal feeding some of us are born with it.

She might of been trying to get your money/make you feel better. We all know it's easier to get someone to workout than change their diet - and she probably knows that you 'want' to hear working out will solve your problem. Plus if she said it was 80% diet, she wouldn't be that much of a use now would she?

thats the point dude they fix what diet and exercise wont they cant help you if your a 300lbs piece of shit.we all have spots that you just cant get rid of you can work out till you die and they are not going to disappear. if you don't like it fix it. look into hi-def lipo its done rite in the office with local anastasia.a years worth of work and diet gone in 15min.

he hasn't really complained about not being able to burn it off....big A complained about having "issues" under the skin in the areas that underwent the liposuction.

Well, what's your current b/f percentage? Have you lost significant weight recently? I find that sudden weightloss will often leave some fat in unusual places on me and it takes a few months for it to redistribute itself back to normal.

It could always be worse too always remember that.

I find that as long as I continue to lose weight everything will eventually fall into place.

If you happen to use Growth, try using it in the fatty areas. Works for a friend of mine.;) But it does require constent application.

Well. I guess BF is relative to some here. I don't think I am fat, but my BF is no higher than 15. Ive been trying to gain, so I have been pigging.

I have no sudden weight loss. Just the usual aggrevation of some stubborn areas.
I just thought what she said was strange, but who knows. I had to ask to see if there was something to it.

Why not clean up the eating for a few months, watch the carbs, cut back a little on the overall calories and I'll bet you will soon find those problems starting to resolve themselves.

did i miss something i did not no big-a had lipo.and if you read his first entry here he seems a little frustrated that he cant rid him self of it. just giving him an option maybe in a year from now the problem is still an issue he might change his mind.and the lipo that i mentioned is much different then regular lipo.a lot less invasive.
