I personally want some more training threads, and nutrition threads. I'm tired of the drug talk for the most part. Lets get together here and try to get some ideas going for new threads and have some amazing discussions like in bboys thread.

Some topics I'd like to talk about, anything, and I mean anything is fair game.
Nutrition
Contest prep
Recovery/rest
Any type of training, high reps low reps etc etc.

Now, its your turn..I honestly dont know very much about this type of stuff, but I'd like to. So some of you vets and other bros throw out ideas and lets get some threads going!

Just remembered...I'd like to see some discussion of books about weight training stuff, diet etc.

i always thought it would be cool to find out what some vets did to counter hunger pangs while comp dieting. I mean you cant ALL be machines with just a shutoff switch to pain right? RIGHT?! :p

I grilled onions and ate em like potato chips :D prob went through 3 onions a day!

Also id like to see opinions of how long you waited after a show to REALLY start slingin the heavy weights again.
 
I love LATS storytime reality threads, but I know he is busy. But, I think another detailed contest prep from a promuscle member would be great (Mainevent had a great one a while back). I might even go ahead after May 30th and post my prep even though I am not a big timer like many the big boys on Promuscle, but hey I promise it will be exactly how I did things.

But, I agree...so many great things to discuss with so many great minds on this board.
 
Here's a couple.
-Whole foods that encourage nitrogen retention.
-CNS fatigue and what we can do about it.
-How did you develop your diet and training regimen.And what steps do you take to implement them.
-( For the gear lovers) drug interactions.what does what and why.
 
I would love to hear how BBoy has worked FST-7 into his routine. i know that we need to keep it simple and heavy, i just find it interesting how more advanced bb'ers are looking for growth in new ways.

I also believe that shelby mentioned before that he worked something similar into his routine.

I appologize I have not gotten to that thread yet, I was going to do it last night but got called to work today so i went to bed early, I will get it wrote up soon.

Diets!

Something I would love to see is detailed diets from some of our more advanced competitors starting from their beginning prep up until the day of the show. This would allow a lot of comparison and contrast as to what they felt worked, what didn't, where to improve, etc. I'd even like to hear about diets that failed or didn't result in what they expected, what they changed, and why.

I think it would be funny to have a thread where people post a pic of all the food they are about to eat and only when they actually finish it all. Talking about feast meals here not just your average meal. Because I know that everyone here at one point or another has eaten enough to completely astound an average person. Maybe other threads where pics are posted of what they are eating during dieting and another thread of average meal during bulk, something around their favorite. This to me would be interesting. A pic and description underneath.

I'd like to see how fat some of the guys guts stick out after their huge meals.

thanks! one of the main goals with the experiment thread was to try and steer this board back into a certain direction and you guys have taken the ball and ran with it, some good post and threads on this board lately by a lot more people! Im actually excited to log onto this board everyday now to see what has transpired.

big thanks to DAD for making me realize that something needed to be done!

I'll bump this. I would love to see more threads like this. However most ppl work with someone like Phil and really cant go into detail abot there diet and training for obvious reasons but any info that ppl CAN share would be a great read.
