CUSTOM CONTEST PREP RECIPES

Creole Braised Chicken.

4 bone in skinless chicken breasts
1 tsp gumbo file( can substitute ground Okra)
1 tsp taragon
1 tbsp Emeril's cajun seasoning( can sub chili powder)
1 diced Jalepeno
1 diced red bell pepper
1 stalk celery diced
1 diced white onion
1 diced green bell pepper
1 tbsp minced garlic
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp cumin
1 can crushed tomatoes
1 tsp paprika
1/4 cup dry white wine
salt and pepper to taste
Water to cover

sautee all veggies in olive oil in a LARGE pot, then sear chicken for 1 min in bottom bone side up. add seasoning and crushed tomatoes. cover chicken with water (2 inches above chicken.) bring pot to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30-45 min. this is awesome on its own or you can put it over rice.

I got verry verry lucky lately, my schedual is cleared up a bit, and I had a chance to have some lengthy conversations with Master Chef Michael Chirello. he is one of the best chefs in the world. i have new ideas, but i want your imput. this thread was designed to help, and thats what its going to do. Please, make requests, and ill get to work.
 
How about something using either habanero/serrano chilis.
 
I've tried all of your recipes and they are fantastic. They remind me a bit of some of the things I do on my own! We should exchange ideas via PM sometime. I've got a killer recipe for kabobs

I'm a ground beef kinda guy at 90% lean. I'm a chili FANATIC. Anything you got for that? I'm not much on tomatoes though, blech.

This is a great guide line, stay close to this and you will feel great after a week, put this into play and stick with it.

Bouns* Almond/Coconut milk is GREAT...

I drink a ton of coconut water with pulp before training and directly after.

Turkey meat is great for you (Turkey dogs, turkey bacon, turkey sausage, turkey breasts)

Best Breakfast:
Turkey Breakfast Tacos

Scrambles eggs
Cut up turkey bacon / sausage
Spinach
and a "little" cheese

"Fage" yogurt( I use this as sour cream and yogurt )

I apologize that I havent been paying the attention that this thread deserves. I am extremely busy at work. I promise to get to every request made in this thread, even the older posts. Again I apologize to everyone I left hanging here. It was not my intention but work took over my life ro a while and doesnt look like it will let up anytime soon. So my solution is to update every tuesday.
 
Tilapia....Mexican Style

Tilapia steamed....seperate bowl mix tomatoes cut up red onion and a jalpeno with cilantro and lime juice add a little pepper and garlic powder to taste...

Place the tilapia over a bed of rice and top with the tomatoe mixture

turkey lettus wraps.
1 lb ground turkey
1/2 cup chopped scallions
2 cloves minced garlic.
1 tbsp minced ginger
1 small diced shallot.
head of your favorite lettus.
1/2 cup bean sprouts
1/4 cup shreded carrots
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup sweet Saki(optional but delicious, the alcohol will cook off)
1/4 cup chopped peanuts(just put some whole peanuts in a blender or food processor)
1/4 cup olive oil(optional)


its really simple...
olive oil in a large skillett.
start to cook off the turkey, and when its about half way done add everything except the lettus.
all you have to do when its done is grab a spoon and wrap the turkey in the lettus like a burrito and enjoy

ya this thread is awesome. If anyone is interesting, I started putting some of the ones I think I'll like into a word document so I can add them to my cookbook but I put together all the macros and calories per serving for them. I only got to page four but I'm sure I'll finish soon. Also, if no one minds I think I saw a few requests for chili so I can add mine if anyone wants. Very easy to make, and very high in protein. Now I'm definitely hungry after all this
