You bulk up, eat something like bodyweight x22 in cals. All clean, lots of oatmeal, tuna, chicken, olive oil, EFA's etc. You get big, but put on alot of fat, get huge but you just dont feel like your muscle is solid. People say how huge your getting and accuse you of juicing. You get very strong and the scale keeps going up with no problem, all lifts go up.
Then, you decide you have gotten too fat and want to cut up. You lower cals, go on a good diet, keep training hard. You lean up real good lose a ton of fat, however you lose a TON of muscle.
No problems adding weight, also no problems losing weight. However alot of the weight you add is fat, then when you cut you lose a ton of muscle.
I have been doing this for years, and I feel like im making very little overall progress. I eat clean on my bulk but still get FAT, and train hard on my diet, but still feel like im losing the muscle I gain.
It seems like others retain muscle much better than I do. Anyone who has been though this have any suggestions? The only thing I can think of is to slowley bulk up and make VERY slow solid gains?
