Lets say i eat a meal:

-10oz chicken breast (50g protein)
-1 cup brown rice
-1 cup brocolli

And then Force feeding 5 whole eggs(30g protein).

This is 80g Protein.

Would this be a good idea to Force Feed Protein only?

I heard from a local Pro Bodybuilder that force feeding Protein = Gains

He said too not over eat Carbs or fats, But Force Feeding Protein only.

Just down a 50g protein shake with every meal. Forget stuffing yourself 5 whole eggs.

I agree with emcewen on the protein shake. Five whole eggs would be pretty filling on top of the original meal and add ~20g of fats in addition to the 30g of protein.

I saw your diet thread but didn't reply. You're eating 4 meals a day. Try eating the same amount of food in 6 meals. You'll feel better and won't (or shouldn't be) force feeding it. If you're forcing food down because you're truly not hungry, it's because your body is telling you something. Eat when hungry.

if massive protein intake was all that was needed to "grow" then every kid out there could just eat too much and get massive.
every time i read these kinda threads i do the math.
300g a day = 240 pounds of protein eaten a year. in grams.
body uses what 70-80 a day to maintain functions so that's 64 pounds a year used up, and that leaves 175 pounds left. all rough math but u get it.
so. 175 pounds to grow on and what's a good year's gains? 25? 10?
after a few years 10 pounds is a good year.
then u figure muscle is 70 percent water by weight so that leaves muscle tissue gain of 3 pounds in a 10 pound year.
and for that u need 300g a day? or 400?
even accounting for muscle breakdown, then recovery to stasis, then growth, u aint even coming close to using that 175 pounds of protein.
but i still eat 260-280 or so myself so go figure, what i know v what i do cuz its habit

x2

OP you eating 4 meals a day really ? and talking about force feeding more protein in one sitting. come on bro where is the logic in that ?

spread it out. have another 2-3 meals. easy to do another 2 meals. ita not hard at all.

you only go down the road of force feeding if you have exhausted all options and you clearly haven't.

Time to bring in

Meal 5 start by 30 gm pro

Meal 6 30 gm protein

once your system adjusts to it

go
40 -40

50-50

that is if u want to hit 50 pro every meal

u need more ?

then spread it out or up it in shake meals as that's easier to adjust down to the gram. i hate chopping breasts lol

main thing is let your GI adjust to more food/protein.

Dante's raved about this for many years; protein is also more thermogenic so if there's one macro you should focus on when trying to increase calories that will stave off adipose tissue gain, protein isn't a bad idea.

All the points you make are completely valid. People look at diet as the same way they look at drugs, or training. It's not about who does the most in any aspect that will become a good bodybuilder. But how BDS puts it, balances the scale properly who will continue to progress.

On days you train where carbs might be higher, keeping protein super high is not a great strategy. And on rest days, keeping fats higher which will serve as another fuel source for the body, and keeping protein moderately high will be great in trying to not bombard the body with insulin, and maintain good insulin sensitivity.

I think your "local pro" is a pro ass clown...

:)

Dont force feed unless you wanna get fat...

This.

I also say if you have to "force feed" yourself to grow, you're eating the wrong foods. You don't have to eat chicken breast, eggs, and broccoli. There are so many other micronutrient dense, delicious foods out there!

Interesting read would be the Milos thread. EAA between meals to up protein.

Since when does 10oz chicken =50g protein?

Force feeding/eating large amounts isn't the problem. Digesting and absorbing the meal is the challenge. I was using the Parillo principles back in the 90's. Trying to eat 8000 cal/day. And got to the point I wasn't gaining ant weight. Cut my calories down to 6000 and started gaing again. I figured I was stressing the digestive tract to much and it quit working well. At the lower calories it could handle the job.

If you have to force feed you probably shouldn't be eating it to begin with. Don't ignore your body's signals brah

Research says that you want to Reach 3G of Leucine from protein foods at every meal to Emphasize Muscle synthesis.

3G Of Leucine = 6 whole eggs
= 8 oz chicken breast
=8 oz of Ground beef

Thats why im asking.

As for Protein shakes, I can see a difference in my physique when i eat Whole eggs or Extra lean ground beef Compared to 1 scoop of Whey isolate.

When i eat Meat or Eggs, I seem to gain easier.

When i drink whey, Doesnt seem to do much compared to eating whole foods.

The local pro is Fucking shredd and With Alot of Lean body mass. Very good build.

He says Eating Eggs(Whether eggwhites or whole eggs) Is better than drinking whey.

Something about The NPU(Net protein utilization) of Foods that eggs are number 1.

He also ask me a question: Do you see Ifbb Pros Drinking Whey shakes all day? I told him no. And he just smiled and nod.

Said Meat and Eggs are superior.

I agree with force feeding protein without carbs and fats. You can just do shakes though to make it easier. All the Suppversity studies concluded extra protein won't result in fat gain. In fact, they say the opposite.

This is what he exactly told me.

He said :

Lets say you eat your lunch , chicken breast,Brown rice and brocolli.

2 Hours later, Eat 6 whole eggs hardboiled by themselve.

Then eat your another meal 2 hours after Ground beef, Rice, Brocolli.

Then 2 hours later, eat 2 can of tuna by themselve.

He said You wont get fat By Eating protein Only. The body burn calories When you eat Very high quality Protein(meat, fish,Eggs).

Doesnt seem like bullshit to me.

He's absolutely right. You only get fat from over eating carbs and/or fats.

I will place carbs at Post workout.

he said to get Very lean and gain some muscle at the same time follow something like this.

Breakfast:-6 whole eggs(protein and fats)

10:00:protein,fats, Brocolli(Veggies)

Lunch:protein and fats

Post workout: Protein and carbs

Diner: Protein and fats.

Basically All meals are Protein+Fats.

The only time you eat Carbs is Post workout, he said to eat White rice + Chicken breast.

He said its the best way to Gain muscle while staying lean or getting leaner.

Guy is 5foot7 195 pounds 6% True Bodyfat Year round.Iffb pro.

Calorie surplus is calorie surplus....
