How often do you get a full blood panels? And ekgs/echos. I try to get a full blood panela every 4-6 months. And ekgs/echos every 2 years. I’m still young but I’m glad I started on this forum at a young age and learned about preventive care as far as doing what I can to mitigate damage in the long term.

Also what preventative supplements/meds do you take to try to help prevent future health problems ? I need to add in some more. At the moment I take telmisartan and a multivitamin.( I know there’s a lot more supps I need to add ) just wanted some input brothers.

Full blood panel 1x per year. Uroligist 2X per year (Prostate cancer runs in the family.)

Ekg and echo once a year for shits and grins.

Telmisartan and a multivitamin. And I take a mood stabilizer so I don't kill anybody ;)
And Cialis, .5 a day.

I try and take care of my heart, my head, and my dick.

Blood work 2-3x a year for the last 20+ years as i have been on TRT, always good other then liver enzymes which is to be expected. The rare EKG that i have had over the decades has been good. After having some slight BP issues over the last year for a couplie months after a surgery and covid my BP would go up to 140-80 from it's more usual 110/66. So getting some heart work done. My test for cassification shows my LAD is 20 years older then me. We will see about the other tests as they get done. Always ate as healthy as the latest information that we have had starting in the 70's and done cardio to some extent during that time. And my hands would go numb from typing all the supps i take or have taken in the past.

Yeah I take an ssri as well as a medication for anxiety attacks as needed.

Do SSRI’s effect your sex life?
I’m not gonna lie years ago when I first started them they did make it to where I couldn’t stay hard. But I got use to the medication after a while and it doesn’t bother me now. Sex drive is normal

Do SSRI’s effect your sex life?
Before I ever took cialis or anything it did affect me stayig hard and even getting hard sometimes. But like I said once I found out about cialis it didn’t even matter lol. Good to go. And now 99% of the time I have no problems even without taking cialis. It took my body some time to get use to it.

That’s what you call staying on top of things brother !! I also take metformin daily. I’ve been on telmisatan now for about a week at 20mg a day. So next time I go to doc hopefully my blood pressure is in range. Mines never really been crazy high but has been slightly elevated for a few years.

I would get ekgs and echos more often but my insurance only covers them like once a year I believe.

Definitely pick up a blood pressure monitor, brother. Cheap. Approx 50 bucks. Approx 30-40 bucks for a blood glucose monitor kit as well. Must haves for any bodybuilder.

I will grab one. I have really started taking my health seriously these past couple years. And I’m always learning something new on the forum. Thanks for the advice brother 💪

LAD? Ok looked it up thought LAD was a test at first. I see the stuff on classification but isn’t it just theroy based on multiple data points, good info but still theory. Do you have blocksages and what do you do for it, eat right and do cardio/lose weight?

It was a calcium score. For that particular artery it was around 320 as i remember. Which is average for an 82 year old guy. My highest cholesterol level ever was 155 with an LDL of 95 in my life which was many years ago. Usually around 142 with an LDL of 82ish and an HDL 42ish. Last test total was 135 LDL 75 HDL 49 VLDL was 11 and in the bottom part of the range always. If anything my cholesterol has always been to low and in an unhealthy zone from my reading and according to my Dr. But never was able to get it higher. Triglycerides are in the bottom of the range always. Low C reactive protein. Resting heart rate 58-66 usually for decades except in my aerobic years when it was in the upper 40's. BP is usually around 110/64 these days. Been eating very very healthy, well compared to your average American all my life. Fish oil for 20 years etc. Heart in the target aerobic zone routinely since the 1970's. My BMI is 31 and has been that or higher for pretty much all my life baring getting in contest shape when it is more like 29. My Dr's tell me i am not fat and never suggest loosing weight. I have never been little or weak. The few year i focused on running 40-50 miles a week or biking 200 miles+ a week i would eat 1 meal a day and have a BMI of at least 27. My BP and cholesterol have always been good even on cycle. Never took any medication for either. I figure the stress of the way i trained for decades was not the healthiest thing but knew that when i was doing it. I have a couple more tests coming up over ther next several weeks. Echocardiogram and stress test.

How is your health insurance? Decent relationship w/ your PCP?

For small tests I just run into "Any Lab Test Now" for the expensive tests I just pop into my PCP.
